Dragon bone vs Daedric Weapons.

You quite possibly might have been trying to feed on other vampires. If that is the case, then you should try feeding on a human. If you were trying to feed on humans, I do not know what you could do. I hope this helped some. <3- Astares

Quest SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME UNSEEN VISIONS DAWNGUARD
Hmm, this sounds like a bug. When I do this quest, I go around to areas where moths are fluttering about and they immediately gather to me. As for the quest objective arrows, there shouldn't be any when collecting moths. I would say reload your save. I hope this helped you. <3- Astares

The only advice I can offer is for you to wait some odd number of hours until he's in the throne room. He should be there the majority of the time, when the Jarl is at his throne. I ran into the same problem with some randy in Riften.. I was so mad since yesterday, but I just got done killing him. You'll fail the quest, but it's better than never being able to do side quests from Castle Volkihar.
