Insanity at its Finest
I entered Dragonsreach to disenchant a ring, and three bandits spawned there. Inside the keep. o_O

Everyone except Lydia the coward (whom I still haven't talked to, so she's standing at the door) attacked the trio, and I was again unable to assist without risking accidentally hitting a friendly.

Definitely one of the weirdest things I've ever experienced in Skyrim. I've absolutely zero idea about why it happened.

Maybe they were hired thugs? Haha that is pretty weird though

No, they were just bandits. Outlaw, Plunderer and Marauder, to be exact. :)

I was fighting alduin on the throat of the world with my follower Lydia, I noticed lydia was nowhere in sight, i just kinda ignored it but she still didnt show up when i fast travelled so I decided to go to whiterun, when I got there she wasusing adriannes blacksmith foge, i was like what the hell are you doing she looks at me and says in a khajiit voice "if anyoe tries to sneak up on us I will smell them coming, or I might not, we will see" I just kinda stood there for a second wondering what in oblivion just happened

I'm sure alduin used a strange shout to merge her with Kharjo :D

Coming out of Driftshade with Vilkas I had the strangest hired thug encounter yet. This letter was signed by "Bandit Chief". What Bandit Chief did I leave alive to hire thugs? And why would s/he resort to hired muscle instead of, you know, bandits?

They did have over 700 gold on them, so at least they were paid well for foolishly accepting the ill fated job.

Perhaps you snuck past him and knocked over a plate

How do you backstab a Dragon?
Most recent WTF moment was yesterday on the way out of Riften (headed east gate? - you know where you head for the Sepelchur). As I'm headed past the farm, I am suddenly beset by the 3 Cult Members who, of course start shooting fireballs. There is a sudden "thump" and when I look back, a dragon has landed! Yikes! Both at the same time. Oddly, I started up the hill towards the farm to get some space when I looked back and the dragon was now attacking the cultists. Epic! They're firing fireballs at the dragon and it's responding with frost. Needless to say, the dragon won. Oddly, when it was finished with the cultists it simply took to the air and flew away, apparently forgetting about me.

Well... at least I got the robes and the gloves and boots I'd been looking for to complete my ensemble. A very good day... until, of course those thugs showed up all pissed off that I'd done in Anise... Oh well...

This just happened: I was trying to make my way to markarth from whiterun without fast travelling, I arrived in rorikstead and as soon as I went to talk to one of the citizens (forget which one) the guards start attacking me! I sheathe my weapon to make them stop, I may have somehow got a bounty because I'm sort of an assassin character, so the guards stop attacking me and just go back to patrolling, no bounty payoff or anything. Then I wen't over to the inn to sell some of my crap and there was this guy using the tanning rack, I walked over to talk to him and he stood up and started attacking me too! I killed him and looked at his body... he was a vampire thrall! I looked around for the vampires and there weren't any... one of the wierdest chain of events for me ever.

A long time ago, I saw a couple guards, or maybe it was Stormcloaks, escorting a criminal, I freed the man and as the guards tried to kill me, two of them got slaughtered by mudcrabs. While the prisoner was already murdered by the guards.

At the end of another successful take over of a Stormcloak Fort, I surveyed the surroundings. Amongst the dead Stormcloaks was a horse. Upon closer inspection I discovered that the horse no longer had its head and front legs attached to it as it lay, bum up in the air!

Riding through the Rift on my way to Autumn Watch Tower and I am attacked by a Spriggen, a thralled bear, and the Autumn watch dragon. Well when I dismounted my horse it got such a fright that it revealed its secret power to me. It could FLY! It zoomed off through the trees and over a hill, never to be seen again.

Bad to the Dragonbone.
It's happening again.

I'm making my way across Skyrim through the wilderness. Somehow, I've lost my follower, Jenassa. I swear she was right behind me and as I turned back from looting the corpse of a Forsworn she was gone.

She had ALL my soul gems. Now I have to hope I come across some in my travels or my magic weapons will be drained and of little use. Despite this little setback I press onward and accomplish my goal. Looting, and looting, and looting as I go.

And then it happens. That horrible message you never want to see.

You are carrying too much to be able to run.

I look through my inventory. I can't ... I just can't throw anything away. Armor ... weapons ... Dragon Bones ... ore ... ingots ... the pelts of various animals ... the list goes on. Most of it is crap. I could find it, craft it or buy it. But for some reason beyond all comprehension, I am unable to just drop it. That would be like throwing gold away.

And so I trudge along at a snail's pace. Praying to the Divines that nothing seriously threatening comes along and kills me before I make it to civilization ... and a merchant.

I need therapy. o_O

If going the console route, I suggest:

player.setav carryweight x

...will set your carry weight limit to the value specified as x. It will auto-reset back to your original value next time you load up a saved game.

If not wanting to do the console step, I recommend having a set of apparel handy that has carry capacity boosts on it so you can use them as needed when needed. Strength potions can also be useful at times.

Alas, I'm an Xbox 360 player. I already had 2 items on which were boosting my carry capacity and I did have a potion as well but was saving it for an emergency. This character will eventually take advantage of the Restoration Potion Exploit and craft a suitable OP item that will let me carry the world. Til then, my knees will occasionally buckle from the staggering load in my never ceasing quest to have as large a hoard of gold as possible.

I was at some mill close to Riften when a courier comes running up to me with a very important letter. He gives it to me then pulls out a flower basket and starts to toss flowers to the chickens walking around his feet. He would put the basket away then pull it back out again. I watched for a few minutes to see if he would leave, but he just fed the chickens flowers. Never seen that before.

ouch, that's gotta hurt. I did that to a horker once, it went flying across the world
It was funny that my first reaction when coming over to it after shooting it was, hey look, corundum ore... and a bear with an arrow in its ass.

I'm totally crafting something special with that, the ore that is not the ass with an arrow in it, unless.... :D

The ones without heads and front legs fly much better. Much less wind resistance.

As I was making my way up to Dragonsreach yesterday and crossing the wide walkway to the doors, I kept hearing men gasping. Now I realize that I'm one hot tomato so, at first I thought it was the guards gasping in lust at me in my stunning vampire armor get-up, but then I looked to my left and noticed that 1st, the head of the guards, then Nazeem, then the Amren guy, then a guard where walking up the steps out of the deep pool beneath the walkway. Needless to say, I was shocked. What, there's a secret passage there out of the keep deep inside the pool that I never knew about. As I watched, every male character that I'd ever seen walking the streets of Whiterun (including both battle-borns and a number of guards) just kept coming. Funny, no women. I thought to myself: "What? Is there a stag party going on down there? And, if so, can I jump out of the cake for them?"

I had received a Letter from a Friend on Solstheim, and now finally found the time to go explore Ragnvald.

You know the two leveled Draugr that guard the entrance, right?
Well, this time they had quite a few friends with them. o_O

SkyRe had set Ragnvald's minimum level really high, plus I was level 51.
I ran into four or five Deathlords, a DDO and an Overlord (stronger than the DDO). Most of them were archers and/or had ebony weapons, too.
There was a Wight there as well, but that's hardly worth mentioning.

Tough as the fight was, I got a good laugh when I used Cyclone on a _____lord group. :D
