Geminus had been standing still, no movement could be seen. His knees were slightly bent so he didn't cut off circulation, he looked rather like a statue at the moment.
He watched as the group showed off their magicks and chatted about musical instruments. He didn't have much to say about music. He liked most of the songs he'd heard in the Inns of Skyrim so far, but he had no talent for it at all.
A flash of blue caught his attention and he turned slightly to see Michael summon a sword and then take some practice swings. He's got some experience it seems swinging a blade. A summoned sword is handy if you lose you own sword, but he preferred the clash of steel on steel and steel on bone. He couldn't imagine that a summoned sword like that would do much damage.
He watched Bruynzeel jump up from the ground, drew and swung his sword through the air in a series of swipes. The blade hummed as it passed through the air and Geminus doubted it was as slow and dull as the Khajiit claimed, remembering how he drove it throught the spiders exoskeleton like a hot knife through butter. The lightning helped I'm sure, but blade, its long slender blade with its slight curve and the rare box like tip, was the real force in the weapon. The skill of the user, with ages of experience helped too.
Tappit did a quick glance in his direction, probably presuming Geminus to show off his skill with the hammer, but Tappit quickly looked away.
They were wasting time. Geminus could see the boredom in Michaels eyes as he practiced his magic. Rath was probably bored to as he kept arranging his garments and trying to draw Tappit into doing more magic. Duva seemed a little bored as well, almost flirting with Tappit with her request for private lessons, which almost made Geminus laugh out loud, instead he just smiled behind his helmet. Sometimes it was good to have it one almost all the time.
Adante seemed to be deep in her thoughts the whole time they'd been in the cavern. There was definitely some kind of history between Bruynzeel and her which probably happened long before he crossed their path back in Understone Keep. Tappit was slowly approaching her now, hopefully with nothing mischievious in mind as she didn't look the sort to be surprised.
He had to admit, he was getting a little antsy to move on and see what was behind door number one. Door number two on the same level meant getting wet. He looked at the pillar he could probably jump to from the middle level and then with a lot of luck probably make the landing by the door... but he knew his luck, and it didn't like him when he tried fantastic feats as he was thinking. If the group chose that door, he'd have to take his chance wading down the sunken path and up the other path. He started to think that the pathway would be slippery and would probably require his ice-spikes for traction.
He walked over to the door on their landing and tried to push it open. It rattled on its hinges and remained closed. Locked! He looked at the locking mechanism and shrugged. He fished in his satchel for a lockpick and knelt down to the lock. After a moment of fiddling with it the lockpick broke. He stood up and leaned against the door. Probably requires that key of Bruynzeel's
