Perkless in Skyrim

Bad to the Dragonbone.
Oh c'mon people. Really? No love for Paarthurnax? He's just too cool. One of my favorite voices in the game.

And of course the sultry Karliah. Too bad she's taken.

I have a love/hate relationship with Cicero. I love his character but his voice really gets on my nerves. Never had him as a follower so I've missed some of his nuttier ramblings.

I agree on your Serana comment. I just feel that her voice is simply "normal," so it's not annoying nor is it mind blowing. But Astrid.... she's my favorite.

"If you turn around, you'll notice my guests. I've "collected" them from... well, that's not really important. The here and now. That's what matters. You see, there's a contract out on one of them, and that person can't leave this room alive. But... which one? Go on, see if you can figure it out. Make your choice. Make your kill. I just want to observe... and admire." Then I fell in love with her.

And when she said, "But no mistake. I am the leader of this Sanctuary. My word is law. Are we clear on that point?" and when her lovely dominance trait came out, then I submitted like a little bitch, no problem. Too bad I had to kill her at the end, I wish I could have married her instead and made her work a shop at my house, then I could always hear that voice and see those blue eyes.

I thralled poor naked, burnt Astrid. She was a bad thrall (only level 1) and her moaning wasnt nearly as seductive as her voice... damn :p

I like the sound of some of the female orcs. just coz its different i think. I dont really pay too much attention and cant name a lot that stood out to me, but i remember Clavicus Vile had a pretty grating voice.

Of course Karliah has a sexy voice, and i think Harkons voice is soooo cool  when i grow up i wanna be just like him :D

Serana's voice is so sexy, the first time I heard it I wanted to marry her. I melt at the sound of her voice. It's like the voice of the most popular girl in high school. I personally just enjoy her voice whether it's viewed as overrated or not. It's the best female voice I've encountered in game.

Yeah, I've had one or two realisations like that......
Serana's voice is so sexy... It's like the voice of the most popular girl in high school.

This is so accurate!

As for mine, my favourite aren't always the ones I most attractive or striking, but that they fit the character.

Likes:
General Tullius - I think Michael Hogan's voice fits really well with Tullius and his character, you can tell he's excellent
Ulfric Stormcloak - charismatic and deep, just like the character. It's easy to be convinced and inspired by him, just as intended
Cicero - I really dislike Cicero's voice, but that's because it's really well done
Redoran Guard and Captain Veleth - A lot of them have a very strong northern England accent, which is nice because that's where I'm from :p
Lord Harkon - dark, powerful, charismatic, brooding - everything that Harkon embodies is reflected in the way he is voiced
Ri'Saad and Kharjo - because Khajiit
Belethor - hate his voice, but again I think it's well fitted to his character
Jarl Balgruuf, Skald, Mercer Frey, Esbern, Delphine, Arngeir - I think the voice acting for these characters fits them really well
Ysolda, Hroki, etc - as a young man of 23, I find these voices slightly erotic
Astrid - acquired taste, but I think it compliments her character as a sultry assassin who is a cold killer but fiercely passionate about her control over the Sanctuary
Viarmo (Bard's College) - fun, but annoying

Dislikes:
Karliah - everything sounds like a forced whisper, over-dramatic
Brynjolf, Delvin - I love their voices, but why do a Nord and a Breton sound so different to everyone else?
Nazeem - I can't decide if he's really well voiced because I hate him so much, or not
'Sinister Breton' - there's a voice, Kleppr is one and I think Bassianus Axius also has it, that is just really annoying and doesn't really seem to fit any of the characters it's matched to
Serana - I just wish she was a little more... interesting. Lots of okay dialogue, though

Hahahah you aspire to be Harkon? Oh lord.... Good luck! It'll work out..... eventually :D And yeah I read somewhere that she only had 1, so I was just like forget it, plus I didn't want to hear that ugly moaning that would ruin her for me.

Kohlar the Unkilled

Time for some ale
I come late to this thread and have a few points to make.

Arngeir is voiced by Christopher Plumber, one of the most talented actors of this age. Who can forget his epic performance as general Kang in Star Trek VI?

Does no one else think that Balimund, Maul, War-Bear, etc... sound a bit like Optimus Prime?

Whoever did the voice acting for Neloth is simply brilliant. The character is MADE by the voice acting.

Now then, I know this is a Skyrim forum... but something must be said, and it's appropriate for the thread. There can be no better voice acting than that of Uriel Septum. When I first glimpsed a picture of the old emperor, I was not impressed, and in fact thought to myself, " That, is the great Uriel Septum?!" Then everything changed when he began to speak. Hail Patrick Stewart.

There are a lot of great responses here. Am I really the only one showing love for Teldryn Sero's voice? That surprises me.

LIKES:
-Serana and Astrid both have sexy voices, but I like Serana's better
-Teldryn Sero, I like most of his lines as a follower too
-Miraak, most badass voice in the game
-Odahviing
-Paarthurnax
-General Tullius voice really fits his character
-I also really like Frea's voice

DISLIKES:
-Nazeem, Kleppr, Bassianus and pretty much anyone with that annoying voice
-Taarie, I hated her insulting my armor
-Esbern, he sounds like he has food or something in his mouth every time he talks

Tullius' voice doesn't bother me, but I find it very recognizable, and I tend to think I'm talking to Col. Tigh, rather than an Imperial general.

Every time I hear him speak, it's like I'm back watching Battlestar Galactica

Oh and I do like Clavicus Vile's voice. Out of all the Daedric Princes, he'd have to be my favorite.

Malog Bal in my opinion, is the best.
Hah he's actually one of mine. I've always had three (in no particular order):

Clavicus Vile, Molag Bal, and Sheogorath.

I actually made a thread on this, some people had some interesting things on there, check it out!

I dislike: Mercer Fray's voice

When I think about Mercer's voice I swear I can actually hear him in my head: "Karliah. When will you learn that you can't get the drop on me"

One of my favorite lines in the game (Dragonborn DLC) is "And so the first Dragonborn meets the last Dragonborn at the Summit of Aprocypha", it is just so epic

I love Serana's voice but god does she complain. "Yes Serana, I know that you dislike the light. Yes I know you want to go back into a cave. YES SERANA I UNDERS- STAWP!"

Unfortunately that as far as it goes regarding Vanilla characters. How about mods that add people?

Zora Fair-Child has the cutest voice and thus I never tire of her companionship (She is from the Interesting NPC's)

Rinori Imaryn is my next and god her voice makes me cry in sadness. It has a very "winded" feel to it and that overlay of her sorrow perfects her character. (Interesting NPC's)

Finally, one I am still trying to find but has a magical singing voice has to be Alassea. Just listen to her for yourself here: Click me!

I know! She definitely does complain quite a bit. I thought it was funny that when I became an actual vampire she still said similar things, and I was like, "I'm a vampire... I agree.... but I'm dealing with my problems and coming to terms with them, so shut up and let us all move on."

Can't think of anybody offhand. I'm just glad we finally got the frog out of the throat of the female Oblivion player characters before they came to Skyrim and got into fights.

Mirabelle Irvine has a nice voice, but I don't know why she has a unique voice and the arch mage has the standard posh/flamboyant male voice, surely he should have been unique as well.

I also like the high elf voices. They rarely have anything pleasant to say, but do they sound very pretty when they're talking about slaying heretics.

And I love the bitchy voices of characters like Maven and Elenwyn.
