It would be in keeping with their Daedric questlines. There seems to be a large amount of daedric related content i the main game and thus makes sense.

It may be, but how would that fit into the story? The only reason the Oblivion Gates opened are because the Temple of the Dragonfires were not lit. But Emperor Titus Mede II is not of Septim blood. So Mede has no Dragon blood in him. I see that the Mythic Dawn could open a gate on their own but how?

but the Dragonborn has the *soul* of a dragon, and other dragonborn are being born. Look at Ulric.

I thought Ulfric was not dovahkiin. I read that he learned the Thu'um by studying the Greybeards...

Right, my mistake on that. Though the dragonborn used to be born more often, so the greybeards say. I have to admit I don't see a whole mythic dawn being part of the DLC, it would seem too much like a rehash of oblivion. After all that was all mythic dawn. Unless they make a total new twist to it.

oh another blurb I found on another site, that kinda makes it look like this might not be the DLC but could be something like a phone app, like they had with Travels.

Upon checking the filing date, “Dawnguard” was only submitted by Zenimax on February 17, 2012 in which its status says, “New application will be assigned to an examining attorney approximately 3 months after filing date”. This hints its release should come out on mid of May the earliest. Question is, does that sound like a viable launch date for Skyrim’s first DLC? The one promised by Bethesda to be ready soon after the arrival of the official content creation kit.

I thinking what the developers will come for after the "Game Jam"... Todd Howard said the developers would have one week to create everything they want, then release it.

Ulfric can Shout but is not Dragonborn. Bitch always Disarms me if I try to kill him :/

I've only ever come across one Mythic Dawn Cultist in the Daedric Quest for Mehrunes Dagon. It would be interesting to see more, not sure how it would tie in to the whole Dragonborn business but I'm excited for new content nonetheless.

Yeah I just went to the Grey Beards again last night on my most recent play through, was trying to aoid the main quest for a while, and they do say the dragonborn does have dragonblood, and that you are the only one they know of, but may not be the only dragonborn to exsist.

I'm not sure how I feel about the idea of the mythic dawn returning. It'd be cool cuz that means more daedric related stuff, which i LOVE, but i think it'd also be oblivion all over again.
The guy that gives you the Mehrunes Razor quest attacked me when i went near him, I assumed you had to talk to him since he's running a museum and all. Did i do something wrong?

Lore wise I don't see how it could be about the Mythic Dawn. In Oblivion, the God Akray kind of sealed that up forever and the "Mysterium Xarxes" is the only thing that could bring that event again, and as we see in Skyrim, it's reduced to nothing but a burnt piece of paper.

I would love to do an Oblivion Gate with Skyrim Graphics though. That would be pretty awesome I bet.

It could also be the realm of Meridia, after all she does give you the DAWNbreaker? Just a thought though.
