If you look at the bottom left of this picture, there's me in the green t-shirt stood with my brother. This was the S(unthorpe Utd (if I used a 'c' instead of '(' it'd be filtered  ) game against Mansfield on Saturday. Sam Winnall scored on his debut here to make it 2-0, which was the final result. It was a good game, too.

It's funny how Liverpool have got these "great set of values" only once Suarez threatens to leave. It seems you can do what you want at Liverpool and it will be everyone else's fault, but threaten to leave them, and suddenly you have to be brought to task and made an example of, because it just isn't "The Liverpool Way".

"We stood by him" they cry, as if burying your head in the sand, pleading victimisation and blaming everyone else were somehow worthy of a medal.

Yeah, you stood by him, because you were dependent on him. Had he been pl*ps, you'd have had no such "loyalty" at all, and you'd have condemned his antics as being contrary to "The Liverpool Way" and sent him packing, citing your "great set of values", "dignity", "class" and all that malarkey.

Liverpool really do take self-delusion to new levels.

Well, it looks like we've signed Willian from right under Tottenham's noses, and Jose's words on the subject were hardly diplomatic, they were designed to cause acrimony, to make Tottenham angry, that's what he does, it makes for fascinating viewing as always, and there's always an intention behind the words, the intention of destabilising a rival and transmitting strength to his team. One thing's for sure, due to Jose, Man Utd and Tottenham will be more up for it than usual against us, if that's possible, which is exactly what our manager wants. It's his method and it's interesting as hell.

Willian isn't worth 25m. I am wondering if we dodged a bullet by not signing him for that much!

The market today is incredibly inflated so players will often go for more than they're worth. When Illarramendi is sold for 38m I'd say 25 is just right for Willian. This transfer is very much superfluous from Chelsea' point of view, however; we didn't need yet another AM. He would have fit in better at Tottenham.

United sign Fellaini and a few of my friends already debating over how balanced the Fellaini-Carrick pairing in midfield will be, or whether it will be completely devoid of creativity.

Pirlo is an excellent example for another issue that has come up re: Carrick not being as creative as others in his role. DLPs never ever have to ALSO bear the brunt of the defensive effort. Pirlo had others doing the lion's share of defensive work, Alonso has Khedira and had Mascherano before that...

Carrick has spent the last couple of seasons having to put defending first as whoever his partner was it would largely be someone faffing about the pitch and not displaying much defensive discipline and nous. Give him a good partner and I reckon we will see him being far more influential in the build up.

As an aussie with a love for the world game, my team is Brisbane Roar. But I absolutely love <3 love Chelsea fc! Many a late night and very early morning watching the boys In blue playing in the champions league and FA cup.

Its a shame that to watch premier league games i gotta get pay tv, but i dont mind watching the games when they are shown on normal tv.

my all time fav player, bar none, is the legend that is Frank Lampard :) i also loved drogba in his day and petr cech is a world class keeper.

Well as it stands I've got a 3yr banning order for going on the pitch against the gas (Bristol Rovers) a few months back. I've got a meeting with the fans liasion officer at Bristol City to try and get it over turned but as it stands I'm banned from all grounds in the UK and have to send my passport off to the home office when England play away from home or at the World Cup.

Just got back from court I've had my ban over turned how I got convicted in the first place is beyond me the evidence they had was shady to say the least. But the police and the courts don't like football violence and tend to go hard at people caught rucking at the football. Not that it stopped me from going the good thing about winter is you can wear hoodies and scarfs so the stweards letting you in haven't got a clue who you are.

I didn't go to any away matches to watch Bristol City but went to all the home games and went up to Old Trafford the other week to watch Man U v West Ham. But I'm free to do as I please now that I've cleared my name.

P.S As88 can't believe you signed Paddy Madden today L1 top scorer the other year I was hoping City might have been in for him as Yeovil is just down the road. Where the fuc# have Sfuzzy kittenhorpe got 300k from though to sign him?.

New Chairman! He's come in and changed the atmosphere, especially with Caretaker Manager Russ Wilcox having been given the job permanently after a string of good games putting us top of the table.

Chairman Peter Swann is the husband of the woman who's grandfather started Wilkinson's (the cheap homewares and general shop), she's worth an absolute fortune. SUFC are also trying to get the go-ahead for a new stadium, scheduled for 2015 (which is ambitious, considering everything that needs to happen).

You should get on the bandwagon now mate, while they're still creeping up on people! :p

Strikers are Madden, Paul Hayes, Deon Burton and Chris Iwelumo. Not bad for League 2 ;)

City till I die I'm City till I die.

Fair play nothing like having a sugar daddy bank rolling your club our chairman just wrote off 35m worth of debt what a legend. http://www.bristolpost.co.uk/Steve-...million-debt/story-20425643-detail/story.html

Yeah that aint a bad strikeforce. We had Chris Iwelumo a little while back he's a tank. But I would rather have Sammy Baldock and Jay Emmanuel Thomas. The later scoring goals like this the other week.

JET JET will tear you apart again.

I'm looking forward to Arsenal v Cov, seeing how ALL of my friends either support one or both teams. Personally, i'd love cov to win to wipe the smug smile off the face of a total ballbag i know. :D

[edit - said ballbag isn't actually a ballbag. I just like winding him up ;)]
