Xbox 360 I really want to know

I know this is a controversial subject, but I want to know why Bethesda made the kids in this game indestructible, and annoying as heck to begin with? Was it their goal to piss some players off? Did they tell the only two child voice actors for this game, "Be as obnoxious as you can when reading the script, you are immortal!" I read some reasons, like... this game would receive a more higher, more mature rating, and that means fewer sales. Or violence against kids is shunned upon. Or that soccer moms would find it offensive and start threatening Bethesda.

I mean, come on! This game promotes killing Emperors and it's perfectly okay butchering some old hag, but when it comes to the annoying kids, Bethesda is pussified? I'm sick of the kids just standing there all calm after a dragon burns a hold to the ground. They even have mini daggers too. They're also witnesses you can never get rid of. I understand why Hearthfire was made. It was to get people to actually like the kids in this game by letting you be more interactive with the game world, by building your own house and adopting kids. I bet Bethesda has seen those videos of the mod that allows people to kill kids, and I bet that's where Hearthfire comes in.

For those who played Oblivion, did anyone notice those skeletons strewn all over the Night Mother's crypt? Yeah, all skeletons of kids. Now that was bold. I'm not interested in the violent aspect of this subject. Just a simple *poof* and your gone from the game world I'm totally okay with. I know, it's too late now. Well, in the future, I'm getting the PC version, not just for the the one mod I mentioned, but because the console version of Skyrim is kind of lacking, I've seen videos of the many mods featured, and I'm interested. I don't care if I'm two years late.

I read somewhere that the fact Bethesda recorded children death screams that would never be used in a completely vanilla game indicates they were fully expecting the killable children mods to be created.

Since the entire town hunts you down like a dog just for killing a bloody chicken, imagine what would happen if you *did* kill a child. All of Skyrim, down to the last skeever would attack you on sight!

Yes, you're right. I've heard the screams on the videos for the mods. Wow, Bethesda anticipated more than I thought.

That would suck. Your housecarls already try to kill you for killing your Honeyside chickens anyways... which I never understood. It's funny to see the entire town fight your housecarl to the death.

I don't know if there's any truth to this, but I read somewhere that Bethesda basically decided to troll everyone because apparently people complained about how there were no kids in the previous TES titles, or if it was fallout people complained about, I can't remember, anyways, from what I read Bethesda just decided to add kids and make them annoying as hell and of course, make them unkillable (unless your playing on PC with mods) Like I said, don't know if that's true, but if it is, they trolled us.

Hearthfire is fun for awhile but then it kinda gets old fast , like all the game glitches that it brings. I never get kids anymore EVER

Making people into child-killers are just a line they didn't want to cross.

The only one that annoys me is Braith, and I equipped my girls with weapons and they follow Braith around with their little swords so I think my girls have got it covered.. They will follow in Mummy's footsteps.
