What are your thoughts on wearing 10 rings instead of one? I realize why Bethesda allowed only one ring, for balancing reasons. Most of their racial powers would also become obsolete. But, if you play on master, perhaps the op effect wouldn't be so bad? Thoughts?

Mr Forz

I'm helping. Mostly.
With enchantments being completly burnt overpowered already... I really don't think so. And even if it got balanced/on even odds with Master / Legendary difficulty, err... I'd feel bad having to equip stuff comparable to an Iron Man suit just to kill that Bandit Marauder.

Wearing 10 rings would be too much. You'd sooner break your fingers when your blade meets another and gets thrown back. Either you'd loose your grip of your weapon thousands of times because eventually your fingers will sooner loosen their hold than take the pain of breaking completely.
Irl I personally can't wear rings at all. Especially not when writing, or worse, typing - I just need some flexibility.

In Oblivion, you could wear two rings and it wasn't that bad. They could've carried over the same thing in Skyrim and it wouldn't be overpowered, at least not in my opinion.

Two rings makes sense actually. One could theorize that the enchantments wouldn't work if they are too close together. Sort of like opposing magnetic fields. One on each hand would work, because they are far enough apart.

She thinks it would at least be nice to be able to wear an enchanted ring and a wedding ring.

This is exactly why I downloaded a left hand rings mod.

Out of respect for balance in the game and the choices the developers made, I never use it to wear two enchanted rings despite always playing on master, but the second the character gets married, the wedding ring goes on and never comes off ever.

10 rings would really be too
much because you find some pretty cool and powerful rings later in the game. But i think it will be just fine to be able to have a perk for more magical rings (one on each hand in the beginning and up to 2 on one hand). You know, because your body may not resist to so much magical power if you aren't trained enough. :)

If you go that route, then why not like 20 necklaces and yu could make your guy look like Mr. T

I agree one on each hand.
