Just signed up to say one word:
Blackreach.

More words:
I first entered it at level 48 or something, thought I'd seen it all and that there would be no more major surprises. Then Blackreach appeared. Holy smokes that was amazing. I literally walked around down there for over an hour with my mouth wide open. Collected the crimson nirnroot and all that. Just amazing! Don't know how many times I said Woooow! out loud to myself.

That was a great feeling. I'm 31 and have been playing games since before the commodore 64, but nothing has blown me away like Skyrim :D
Sorry Ocarina of Time, you're going to have to accept 2nd place.

Just then I got to that word wall near Statue of Meridia. A dragon falls out of the sky dead after I obtain the word, I absorb its soul and there is a frost dragon flying above me but isn't attacking
I know falling dragons has happened before to others but this is my 1st after 96 hours play time

I've only had maybe... two dragons randomly fall and die in front of me. First was a very weak dragon (just called "Dragon" under the health bar). It came in to land or crash land, and once it hit the ground, it was dead, yet last I looked, it had ~30% of its health left, and I'm pretty sure one steel arrow at level ~40 or so wouldn't do that much damage.

Second time was just, POOF, random dragon appeared in front of me, died, and burned up.

Oh so many moments to count! But I do have one awesome moment that comes to mind. *spoiler alert* After freeing Odahviing from Dragonsreach in Whiterun, you learn a shout that summons him to fight with you. I remember testing it out once or twice, nothing special. I killed mostly everyone before he got there. :/

So one day I was roaming around in The Rift, discovering locations so I could explore them later. As I was walking across this open field I hear an Ancient Dragon screech above me and then its immense shadow pass over. Usually when you shout at a dragon it lands to fight, or circles back around to attack you, so I shout "OH DAH VIING!"; it was selected already for some reason. That little 'Aha!' moment popped in my head so I ran for cover as this battle was going to be epic. In the distance I see him (Ohdahviing) flying towards me. he sees the hostile dragon trying to kill me and swoops by him, slashing at him with his claws. (I'd never seen that before!) They fly out and circle around, coming in for go at each other. This is where it happens. The two dragons fly head on towards each other, a little offset like jousters from medieval times. Then "YOL TOOR SUL!" (fire breath shout) amplified, and slightly echoed, by both of them shouting at the same time. As they shouted, the pillar of fire that came from each dragons' mouth, seemed to connect them and turn as they circled in midair, right above me. I let them fight and Ohdahviing proved victorious, killing the other dragon in midair, where he crashed to the ground and died. Then Ohdahviing flew off letting me claim another soul!

Just epic, like right out of a movie. I've tried this multiple times, but its never an epic of a battle as the first time.

Using the restoration skill loop to solo Skuldafn with my fists and FUS RO DAH, then show Alduin who's boss by one-shotitng him the first time he landed.

One of the "Wow" moments I had in the game was when my character did a killing blow cut scene while fighting a dragon. I never was able to capture it.... It would have been so cool being able to record it using FRAPS but I was too late.

I'd say my 'wow' moment is when I got Lydia, my housecarl. I was so impressed they'd thought about that, and that you can go and rent help for missions! Great for me as I can be a bit of a wimpy at first and she can just do the killing ;)
I also like that when I bought my house in Whiterun, an extra room was added for her! Small things, but I was impressed lol

I'd have to say my biggest "wow" moment came shortly after finishing the main story and the civil war story. I had Stored my armor and weapons except for a daedric dagger in Delphine's hidden room in Riverwood. I proceeded to walk outside and cross the bridge to the saw mill to begin chopping a insane amount of firewood, after 30-40 minutes of intense wood chopping a loud shriek came across the Turtle beach headset. before i knew what was going on I found myself being assaulted by an Ancient Dragon who wasted no time pounding my Argonian body into the ground and dismantling a core of Whiterun's Finest Guards.
