I cant wait to use wuuthrad against the falmor in the main story at that party

I honestly think that a true nord would wear dragon armor and use dragonbone weapons if he was a very strong warrior.

Would a true nord become a werewolf or would it be against his religion?

Werewolves are dirty and stinky, Just like us. But they are also completely uncontrollable (if you RP as realistically as possible) Go to the prison in Falkreath listen to what the prisoner has to say, You'll learn that in order to protect Skyrim, werewolves must be killed.

A True Nord knows that ancient nord armor helped win many wars. Why fix it if it ain't broke?

I just saying if he came across the armor he would probably use it. Also nordic carved looks good.

Nordic Weapons and Armor are a good upgrade if you want them. Really either way you should be an unstoppable, Shouting, Dragon slaying, Elf killing, Empire removing, Werewolf skinning, mead drinking bad ass.

Hey Blazeglory, waaaay off topic but I was readingyour sig about your imperial pirate with no armour. Just wondering what you dress your pirate in? Im often thinking about different characters and RPs and id like to do a pirate 1day.

I have a Pirate build on the forums. http://skyrimforum.com/threads/skyrim-pirate-build.23490/
I basically wear anything from regular clothes to Noble's clothes to Ulfrics clothes. After all, real pirates don't wear armor, I've taken a distinct liking to the green hood-less clothes with dark black boots and gloves.

Nords should learn the speech skill and join the bards college, nords have ancient traditions of warrior poets.

High King of Skyrim

King of the barbarian horde
Nords have starting bonuses at the beginning of the game. Two handed, Light Armour. Nords are even the most proficient with two handed weapons in the up and coming ESO. What I mean by this is a Nord will gain an exp bonus should he use two handed in the online game. This should suggest to you that two handed is a must. Nords own the two handed tree. Light armour is debatable but it's what I always use and it's obviously what Bethesda was thinking too, hence the starting bonus. Typically, Nords are about brute force. Think offence rather than defence. Heavy armour is the easy way out. Learn not to get hit in light and you'll have more stamina for those power attacks that are a trademark of Nord combat! That's a true nord build, the barbarian. Just look at a Stormcloak.

Thats debatable because all of the nord armor is heavy armor. I just think they set up nords to be any type of warrior but obviously the boosts are in the barbarian style fighting.

I absolutely LOVE the story you wrote! now THATS the personality of the true Dragonborn.
I always go with a 2 handed axe on ALL my true nord builds, it just seems like it would fit the Dohvakin.. the 2 handed ancient nord axe is usually the prefered choice, even tho its very weak at first that can all be changed once your smithing and enchanting are up to par, i like the ancient look of it a lot more than the dlc nordic 2 handed axe, imo that one is too pretty for a true nord.. i also equip full stormcloak officer armor once Ulfric gives it to you later in the quest line because to me it sends a clear message to all imperials and is very fitting if you're RP'ing, but thats just me, i really like your idea with ancient nord armor as well.

Kohlar the Unkilled

Time for some ale
This thread is the reason for my joining this forum. I had decided to make a Nord build before reading this, and once I stumbled upon this discussion, I knew I would have to contribute. I had typed up a sort of bio for Kohlar, but it ended up being quite long so I figured it would be more appropriately posted as a series of blogs, rather than one long thread. And so it was done.

What I have to contribute to this discussion regards stalhrim weapons and armor. It seems that mining it and making things out of it is an ancient Nordic art form. Therefore, Kohlar will likely smith a greatsword, and possibly a mace and some heavy armor. It seem appropriate that an ancient nord build would utilize this valuable resource. I still intend to use the ancient nord set as my end-set armor.

I've made a dragon bone shield. Currently I'm using the shield of Ysgramor, but I may eventually want something stronger, so before I made my smithing legendary, I crafted the dragon bone shield. Although it's not traditional Nord, being dragon born, Kohlar can justify it, especially since he wears Ancient Nord Armor.
