Theive's Guild Lore Continutiy Problem

Hey Hi --- I was wondering what platform are you using ??? P. C. X- BoX or PS3 ?? Then maybe we can ask some one who is like a walking S.R . Dictionary to help you . There are many here who know this game inside and out . I'm not one of those , but I can tell you that this game can be real glitched out sometimes . If you could post a little more info on your platform it would help

You have to complete all the prestige quests (Delvin's special quests for each of the five major capital cities) and complete the main quest line to become Guild Master. If you're already Guild Master and are talking about the dialogues from everyone, with the exception of Brynjolf, no one's dialogues are supposed to change and Brynjolf's new dialogues are bugged and never activate.

Dagmar, Thanks for your reply. I am disappointed that the dialogs do not change since completing all of the quests took some doing! Anyway, be well and prosper.

I see you're playing the PC version of the game. If you install the Brynjolf and Vex -- Thieves Guild Followers mod it not only allows you to use them as followers, it also fixes Brynjolf's bugged dialogue.
I was really disappointed that the largest guild in the game didn't give you any followers so I also use the Thieves Guild Followers - Sapphire Rune Vipir Garther and Ravyn mod. I can have Brynjolf, Vex and one other Thieves Guild member from this mod as followers at the same time. It helps reinforce the idea that you're the Guild Master when you can command three of them at the same time.
