In lore kaarstag and the ebony warrior would not beat Alduin. Lore is more relevant here than in game mechanisms. But by all means believe what you want and go.
if that were true then how come in lore his cult was trashed by dragon weaker than Alduin? I think the power scale is self explanatory. If miraak could be Alduin he would have eliminated him and his dragon instead of hiding off in his feeble temple. Herma mora had to save him from getting pwned.
Right, because you can actually use the Disarming Bash perk with a bow. It must be so notwithstanding you can't actually do this because the official game guide says you can.
This is simply ignorance and misinformation. Elder Scrolls Wikia is full of inaccurate information. UESP is exponentially more accurate about information on the games. The UESP site administrators had access to the game data before the Creation Kit was even released and used it for lots of the initial information on the site which has been further edited by contributors that have detailed knowledge on how to further verify game data through the Creation Kit. It's constantly patrolled, cite checked, fact checked and qualified where verification is needed. The standards of the Elder Scrolls Wikia site are the polar opposite. Patrolling is infrequent, misinformation pervades the site even after it's been pointed out for months (approaching years in some cases), it has skeletal citation, and the citation often doesn't even support the asserted content (in some cases it even contradicts it). The fact of the matter is that a lot of the false information about the Elder Scrolls games on the internet is perpetuated by the Elder Scrolls Wikia site.
Some NPC's have an NPC only Reduce Damage perk. Alduin has a a 0.50% Reduce Damage perk. You can see it on his SpellList tab on his Actor information window in the Creation Kit.
Plus, he has two ways of healing himself, making his 500 base health turn into maybe 1000 or so health if you let it. And at least this guy attacks you...
Finally another who believes Miraak is more powerful then AlduinI play the game on master mode as a tank warrior. IMO, Alduin is stupidly simple and easy to beat. Harkon is more challenging because he makes you use strategy, and Miraak actually can deal serious damage.
Alduin has a 50% resistance to fire and a 25% WEAKNESS to frost. His base health is 2250. The reason he's easy is because he is always distracted.
Harkon is a little easier stat wise, but not gameplay wise. He brings to life gargoyles, which are decent enemies. He teleports, making him a bastard.
Miraak is where it can get challenging. He deals massive damage very quickly. If you are low enough level, he easily one shots you. he has around 700 base health, and heals up 3 times total at around 33% health.
