My Bosmer will have to kill Astrid in the Dark Brotherhood. This will be my seventh time doing this; and even after doing it many times, it hits me in my feels. Granted, she's already crippling in health by the time that you get to her...But if she wasn't in such a bad shape, would you kill her despite her betrayal. I don't think that I have the guts.

Nope, I prefer to let most people live rather than kill them if given the choice (especially allies and such), even if they did betray me. Of course, it depends on the person, but still.

I try to avoid killing important NPCs if I can, I will reload if given a quest that requires me to kill a notable person, as for Astrid I probably would have let her live

Yes. I must return the Dark Brotherhood to the old ways. The Listener must hold the absolute greatest position beside Sithis and the Night Mother. All who believe otherwise shall die.

She died by Sithis's will. I don't think the player would've had the choice. She's just lucky that the Listener was merciful enough to finish her off quickly instead of letting her die a slow, painful death from the fire.

After roleplaying an assassin that killed innocent people, I had no problem whatsoever killing another assassin who wanted me dead. I felt sorry for her in a way, because of things that happened to her in the past, but.....no....she had to die.

I for along time thought we had no choice but to become a member of the D.B. When I bought the the offical Game Guide Book , and found out I could Kill Them " ALL " and loot the whole place , + receive 3,000 G to boot ..... Well YEAH . I never liked the Murder thing . Some like ,some don't . Great Game S.R.
