Well it has been years since I posted a topic about "Lol, can my computer run dis?" but I felt that this would be a great time! Recently, a friend of mine argued about how "optimized" Skyrim is and whether or not my computer can handle it. System specs are listed below.

Gaming Laptop: ASUS G46VW

Processor: Intel i5-3210M CPU (Running at 2.60GHz w/ Turbo to 3.20GHz)

RAM: 8GB DDR3 (Planning to upgrade to 16 later).

Graphics Card: NIVIDIA GeForce GTX 660M 2GB GDDR5. = Runs on Driver 320.49.

Operating System: Windows 8 (Normal)

Sound Card: VIA High Definition Audio

HDD: 750GB 5400RPM

So what do you all think? Any ideas on how it will perform? Reason I am asking apart from me and my friend's debate is the Summer Sale on Steam will be popping up soon and I was thinking of grabbing it so I can focus on doing more articles for this forum.

Your friend has his head up his ass. The ASUS G46VW was a good gaming laptop when the 600 series of mobile GeForce video cards were released FFS. I suggest you ignore any opinion he has to offer in the future about PC capabilities. Your laptop can run Skyrim on Ultra/High settings with high resolution texture and environment mods. I have the 560M on my Asus gaming laptop and it runs those settings and mods without issue and my native resolution is higher than yours.

Yeah my friend likes to argue the whole 1920x760 or w/e resolution and it occurs a lot xD
