New build I'm working on (Suggestions

Hey folks, I've decided to start a new build once I finish DB with my current warrior. This is going to be a Dragonborn, though he will be more like the Greybeards I guess. A more peaceful man who just wishes to master the way of the voice. He will be a powerful mage as well (though peaceful by nature). I guess Having a character with all the power in the world but not abusing it is what I am going for. The biggest thing to me is the apparel! I have most of the talent trees worked out I just want to know some of the best ROBES other than Archmage. I like changing clothes a lot

) Give me your opinion on the Best robes and Hoods/Circlets I can find. Thank you for your input!

Well, one can never go wrong with Master Robes of Destruction. Also, you can buy College Robes from Radiant Raiment in Solitude. They are basically unenchanted Expert Robes, so if you want to enchant everything yourself, that's a good choice.

Unfortunately, the only unenchanted hood I'm aware of is the Mage Hood, which looks identical to the Novice Hood. I really don't like how it looks, but it's there if you want it. When it comes to pre-enchanted hoods, the best I can think of is the Adept hood, which gives 50 magicka so it's nothing special.

My Favorite circlet has to be the Silver and Moonstone one, looks simply fabulous!

I assume you're on PC? Why not go for the Greybeard Robes like Jurgen Windcaller wears in the Hall of Valour?

.. I wear several cloth sets : Savos Aren Arch-Mage armor, light dragon scales, Nittingale armor only, unenchanted college robe ( so I enchant it as I want to ) and the white falmer armor set that you get from the Curator ... my favor so far is the Arch-Mage because not one in the game wear it but me ... just my 2 cents ...

Ohh man, I envy you already ! Are you serious that you have a robe like the ones the greybeards wear if you play on PC?

Console ruins the game IMO but yeah you can get pretty much anything on PC.

I like this idea. I would probably go the unarmed route for melee in addition. Long fuse, big bomb... and when you really get mad, people get beat up with either shouts, magic or fists... or ideally all three during a battle.

Just wear an amulet and ring of choosing, Thalmor Boots and Gauntlets and a loin cloth of eminent nudity and surround yourself with flame cloak for that warm feeling and just kick ass hard core style.

So if your naked and you use Dragon Aspect, does it enhance the size of... eh, nevermind.

I wouldn't be caught dead in Thalmor scum clothing, but that's me. I'd sooner walk around in cultist robes.

Just gotta think outside of the box haha. He has been Created haha a nord who is rather old haha grey hair and all that. Currently just wearing some novice robes

If you want some nice robes hooded thalmor robes look nice due to the gold design on the back I would disenchant the glove that are in the ratway they fortify unarmed and enchant a nice pair of heavy armour gauntlets Imo daedric look nicer id also make daedric boots with magic resistance an amulet with fortified speech and a ring fortifying illusion and magika regen a jade and sapphire circlet or one of the dragonpriest masks if you got the wooden mask id suggest getter all the masks and combining them also get a glass looks beautiful to Imo this is just a Mages view on a build
