Dragon Bourne

Long Live Paarthurnax!
I was having a hard time leaving Breezehome for the new Solitude digs, but I did move the whole family (Car and I and our new house carl) to the much more posh Solitude address. Then I found I was woefully short on storage in the new place so I thought, hmmm... Breezehome is sitting empty, why not make that an armory?

So all my weapons and armor that are not dragon, deadric or glass (best and favorites) are stored there at Breezeome while I collect one of every kind of weapon and armor available to each type (Iron, Hide, Glass, etc.)

Eventually I should have a virtual shopping center that will allow me to outfit myself or any follower with all the same type of armor and weapon. I can see us running around as Forswarn reeking havoc in the countryside!

My favorite city would have to be Windhelm, for these reasons:

*Pretty snow.

*Hjerim is best house, as its the only other house that does NOT lose an area when a Child's Bedroom is added besides Proudspire Manor (which is WAY expensive).

*Easy to access Smithing area and Fences.

* Home to my favorite Jarl, Brunwulf Free-Winter.

I like Whiterun! it's not too big and not too small and I LOVE Breezehome! I also love going to the Bannered Mare and visiting Dragonsreach. Plus you got the Companions so it's a pretty convienient city for me!

Windelm for me. The house has a unique hidden alchemy and enchanting room. Also, the market area is the best in the game as there are two general merchants, a blacksmith and smelter and the white phial shop for the budding alchemist. No city has a more convenient layout for you to take advantage of. Also, it looks badass, I mean come on, it was built by Ysgramor after he had kicked the elve's asses out of Skyrim!

Winterhold for me. I love the snow effects and of course the Mages guild.

PS: In Solitude, where exactly do you find the blacksmith in there? I've looked everywhere but can't find him.
There's a city called Winterhold? All I remember is the college and a bunch of hovels that barely made it a village. And talk about boring citizens! The snow's nice though.

Whiterun. I just love that capital city feeling, the importance of it, the nostalgia I get from the first time I played Skyrim.

Whitehold is my favourite. Quite like Rorikstead too but just because its quiet and has freindly farmers!

Solitude is ok but I dont get the same buzz like whiterun..it may help that ive bought my first house there too!

I am a big fan of Windhelm's market, but I also love Riften's as well. Then again I really like a lot of the different people in the other cities. I guess I really don't have a favorite. That said I cell you that Winterhold is probabl the City I visit the least.

Markarth. I like the 'vertical' feeling of the place - quite different than the other cities, which is a welcome change - and the water that falls from up high and flows through the place. The Dwemer style architecture is great as well, and I like the player house. You're perched up high and, again, it's a nice change from all the other available homes.

My favorite is Whiterun, because like a lot of you, it was the first city I went to when I started playing the game. It brings back memories of being new to the game and being unsure of what to do. And Jorrvaskr is there! :)

Whiterun. Not the biggest but one of my favourites. I also like Windhelm and Winterhold.

Solitude because of the imperial architecture and to view the city on its land bridge from somewhere is truly stunning :D

Without a doubt in my mind, my favorite is Whiterun. Although it might not be the biggest, and it might not be the fanciest, it is a nice town, and it is the base of my number one faction, the Companions. Also, it is the only town that has 2 blacksmiths (that I know of) which makes finding materials much easier.

It is a pretty little town. When I'm at the skyforge putting in work, I look up and see the massive mountain where High Hrothgar is and think "this is a massive game!".
Also it's nice to be traveling along and see the distinct roof of Dragonsreach in the distance, and realize you're nearly home!

It was Whiterun until a recent series of Vampire attacks killed the only two store owners I actually gave a crap about. Riften is now where most of my events regarding bartering, smithing, and anything else is done. :)

Depends.. As a fanfic writer I have a thing for Riften. That city breaths charisma and I really like what they did with the place. But if I'd actually had to move somewhere I'd go with Whiterun. I like Balgruuf (even though his kids needs to get their tiny asses kicked) and the way he runs his city. Solitude is also a good one.
