that's what i usually do but this save i got my smithing and enchanting to 100 before anything else. next thing is speech since i only got 1 perk on that

How do you backstab a Dragon?
You'll get there. I discovered that the armor and combat ones are next to useless when you have powerful weapons, but I perk um up anyhow cause I can legendize them without a second thought and use the perks elsewhere.

Any particular reason? I know it really helped me on my PS3. I never had Lucien's 10K available at all, so that wasn't something that changed for me. All it did was make the game more stable for me (I used to freeze and glitch all over the place. I still do, but not nearly as frequently).

id rather go to the guy in riftin and level up my speech since it takes forever any other way. and the merchant in riverwood is always the number 1 place i go to if i have a bunch of stuff to sell. it only seems to work when you invest 500 into his shop

I see, so Lucien in Riverwood still has the beaucoup bucks for you. No wonder you don't want the patch. Like I said, he never had it for me, so it didn't matter for me. I invested in most of the businesses in Skyrim mostly because it made the next perk up worth it, although it did up their purchase power a little.

since i got my enchanting to 100 i put fortify health and health regeneration on my chest armor and forify stamina and stamina regeneration on my boots. any other good enchants i can put on the other 2 pieces of armor?

Health regen isn't very good or useful since it is so slow in combat.
I like fortify magica and archery on a helmet, fortify archery and 1hand on gauntlets.
Right now I'm leaving on 1h/smithing gauntlets, health /smithing armor, smithing /water breathing ring, and smithing /resist magic necklace. It is great not having to switch out gear.
It entirely depends on how you play.

For followers, only stats, stat regen, armor skill, muffle, and resistances work
So I always muffle the boots, fortify armor class if they aren't capped, resistances and state boosts as they can use them based on their race and combat style.
I would put armor boost and resistances ahead of stats and usually don't bother with regen, unless I don't have anything else I can put.

Remember if you were wearing any weapon enhancing gear,rings or necklaces before putting on your smithing gear. You need to put it back on to get the higher numbers. I also found equipping gear directly from a storage container doesn't always work, you might need to go back to your personal inventory and re-equip to be sure. Active effects list will verify all fortifications.
