Currently a lvl 16 Nord warrior and seem to be doing ok although I've yet to look at anything related that might clue me in on most of the stuff. I have a few questions though:
1. What level should I confront the vampires?
2. What armor is rated the highest?
3. What are the strongest animals you will encounter?
4. How the hell do I get rid of all the money I have saved (over 5k lol)?

.....Hi all!

1. It depends on the vampires, but if you have a lot of healing potions on you, you could probably handle a small group of them.
2. Dragon armor is the best light armor and daedric armor is the best heavy armor.
3. Mammoths are the hardest to kill, but they usually aren't aggressive, so you can just run away, but they are probably the strongest unless you count giants as animals. Also trolls can be dangerous because of their regeneration, but all you have to do is burn them.
4. You can't its impossible!!! Actually I lied, you can do quests for the jarls of cities and use your money to buy homes across skyrim as well as improve on them. However, 5k is just the cusp, pretty soon money will become almost meaningless, but if you are lazy you can always level up your skills through training.

.....Hi all!

Neveraine already gave you good answers but I do have something to add : dragon and daedric armors are the best and you can enchant them as you please, however, if you want an armor already enchanted and probably one of the best out there, get the Ebony Mail from the Daedric Prince Boethiah. It is a heavy armor and enchanted with Muffle effect as well as a unique area effect that inflicts 5 points of poison damage per second on the health of nearby opponents. It can be improved with Ebony ingot and it is awarded to you by Boethiah for completing the quest Boethiah’s Calling.
This armor will turn black and will start to expel the poison fumes as soon as you are to be in contact with the enemy so it is like making you awareness of their presence so you can stay alert from the moment that starts doing that so you know for sure that you will face an enemy pretty soon.
Also, about the money, I would save it to buy your first house in Whiterun for 5k. In my opinion, you need that house from the very beginning of the game to store your stuff because you will collect a lot of items that you would like to keep for future. Happy gaming ...

I'm only offering you one piece of advice from a fellow Nord, because I found out the hard way and it was horrifying and humiliating....

DO NOT APPROACH THE GIANT!

Now go have fun!

Welcome! Also 5k is nothing haha wait until you really progress the character, Confront the vamps whenever you think your character is ready haha some wait some do it as soon as possible, As far as animals go, I'd saaaay sabre cats just because of how sneaky and freaking hard they hit, though pretty much any big animal sucks, Bears, trolls, etc. Just keep exploring and enjoy!

.....Hi all!
Nord is the way to go they are the best and most pure race in skyrim, now as far as vampires they are failry easy to kill, armor rating i believe deadric has highest but the dragon weapons do more damage, or vise versa
strongest animals will be mammoths other than dragons lol, and to get rid of money well the best way is to just drop it on the ground or not pick up gold, there isn't anything that costs alot of money other than some houses.
Be proud that you chose Nord, they are the only race in skyrim that aren't stealing and begging for hand outs.

Be prouder if you chose High Elf, they hold the mortgage at the moment!

If you want to MAKE a ton of money, so you can buy any houses or training you want, start collecting herbs you may find and storing them in your first house you normally buy in white run. Buy all the herbs you can get your hands on. Then just start mixing ingredients. You'll want creep cluster, giants toe, blue butterfly wings, and blue mountain flowers. They all make fortify health potions, which sell for the most money. Far as armor and enemies difficulty goes, if its your first play through, I would suggest using the apprentice difficulty setting.

Also if you are a nord warrior, you should join the companions if you haven't already and become a werewolf!

Don't listen to them, dying at the hands of a giant is hands-down the best way to go. You haven't played the game without being tossed a mile in the air by a giant's club. So if you want a good view of the landscape of Skyrim, let a giant take a thwack at you at least once. :D

As for making money, alchemy and enchanting are a good way to go. They're also a good way to power level. :)

Just be sure to save often, because this happened to me and I hadn't saved at all

I actually can't agree with that more. Save and save often. Best advice you can ever get. Nothing is more frustrating than wandering around having fun and finding yourself against a dragon.

Really he was more asking about what to use money for, and some people don't know what to do with their money and I usually just get everything I need by stealing or by abusing glitches like the way you can cheat to keep your money when you buy a home.

My first venture out involved a giant. He wasnt too friendly, I approached to talk but he clubbed me. I kept my distance after! Im level 8 now and fancy my chances against one now!

Good luck with that! Giants according to the Wiki, are level 32.

And HUGE! (also faster than one might expect)

It's always thrilling to see someone embarking on this game - even now! You just know they're going to have the thrill ride of their lives!

To get rid of money, place it like any other item in a chest you don't own...someones house perhaps, and deposit it.

Problem solved. And Lay Imp. I love your sig even though I know not it's meaning...I have vision issues, and those colors when they appear, feel like soothing ointment on a continuous burn, if that analogy made any sense! :D
