Ancient Falmer Armor

Is there only one copy of the ancient falmer armor or is there more? the one i have is the one you get at the end of the forgotten vale questline. I think is one of the better looking armor in the game. And i would like to know if the mannequin trick where you can duplicate armor still works after the update?

It's the only set (besides what Gelebor is wearing and you can't have it sooo...)
I've heard mixed reports on the mannequin trick ever since 1.9. I tried (on Ancient Falmer Armor no less) and I couldn't get it to work.

There is also no way to get the complete set without the use of the console, as the crown is not featured ingame. So, you won't be able to make use of the Matching Set perk.

I heard that if you were an elven helmet you can then get the perk maybe? Of course it doesn't quite look right though. I always just threw on the Aetherium crown however and that kinda works with it.

The new dragon priest mask dukaan matches up very nicely with the ancient falmer armor, the dawnguard full helm does too as far as cosmetics go, yes you can duplicate it, I have like 6 sets of it in heljarchen hold. Walk in, activate the mannequin, put it on the mannequin, leave then come back in. Take the armor off the mannequin, walk out and back in again and it should respawn. You can do that with pretty much any kind of armor so you can rock the duplication to make some moolah if you want lol

but yeah, you can just transfer your save/profile to a USB, load up modio in your pc and follow the normal steps to transfer the save data, open up your save on pc and rock some coc qasmoke and go grab the falmer crown, it doesn't have a armor rating sadly, but it's still pretty cool, then just coc whiterun, save, then back through the process again to transfer it back to console lol, the helmet will still be in your game on console, because even though you can't acquire it by normal means it IS in fact in the game, just unobtainable during the console gameplay lol the grey beards robes/psijic order robes are the same way...just gotta know how to get em lol

Diadem of the Savant is a light armor head gear. Won't give you matching set, but everything else.

My smithing always get me high enough to the armor cap without ever needing Matching set perk.

I can not advise you on what happened after the patch 1.9 regarding armor duplication because I have not downloaded it and I will not, but in regards to the falmer armor, do you think that armor is better given by the vamp guy you kill just before you get the Auriel’s bow ? In my opinion, that white falmer armor is the best and unique and you can enchant it as well. Just my 2 cents ...

the white falmer armor is the ancient falmer. It is the one i want to duplicate

Yeah, as I described the process in an earlier post, it still works via 1.9, I tried it to duplicate the armor so I would have an entourage (2 thralls+follower) all decked out in the gear and it still works.

it does work, thanks. now i just need to find the right head piece for it.

The headpiece is not attainable except for console commands. However it is classified as a circlet and has no armor value.

My best suggestion for it is the Dukaan mask from dragon born expansion,' it's the only other white head covering there is in this game. It matches quite well, either that or use the aetherium crown it don't go with it exactly but it works ok, also a silver and moonstone circlet works nicely with it as wenmyuyÿyyy

right now i am just using a copper and moonstone circlet, which looks ok, so far better than anything else i have tried but i will look into the dukaan mask. With the circlet and the face paint that i picked, i look like the old wrestler--The Ultimate Warrior--.
