Please! i need some help!

Hello Forum, i need some help. my girlfriend is stuck in dead mans respite. the claw door will not open, and she cant get back up the shaft that you come in, and the claw door is stuck on the gears that look like dragons. all her autosaves are after she reached the claw door, so reloading ISNT an option. she really doesnt want to start over, she loves this game, and we have looked everywhere for the answer. this really is my last hope. if you can help us, it would be amazing.

So she looked at the claw, turned the circles to make the right code, all the circles turned to dragons and the door didn't open?

man I'm so sorry but that sounds like the place that I got stuck in because It's meant to be for the bards college? You could try getting the newest updates to maybe patch it? If you make a new character to start over, please try a build from my channel (Witchdoctor?) I've just started

I know what you're referring to. That door can gitch, sadly, and I don't think anything in the patch 1.9 fixes this.

The most common reason for this glitch is that you entered Dead Man's Respite before activating the Tending the Flames quest at the Bard's College. If your girlfriend hasn't activated that quest, I'm sorry to tell you I had to nix a charcter and start all over, as I myself was unable to find a fix.

In future, always make a save right before you jump down into a pit or through a trapdoor. Don't rely solely on autosaves. I know that's no help now, but that's the only advice I can offer you. Sorry.
