Aww, look at these guys! So cute! A little creepy with those claws...but cute. Baby sloths are the cutest babies around - next to puppies and kittens and wolf pups, anyway.

If you were strained on an island, and had no way home, and you found a bunch of sloths I'm sure your survival instincts would kick in, and would see these creatures as a source of food, not as pets.Go watch the movie Cast away with Tom Hanks to get the feeling and understand the fundamental valuable of survival.

LOL Raijin, I do eat meat. It's true. I suppose it's ever so slightly hypocritical to label "cute animals" as off-limits for consumption (though piglets are adorable and I still eat bacon, but meh). However, I'm hardly the only one who would readily eat a beef burger, and wince and probably gag at the thought of eating a sloth steak unless it was totally and completely necessary.
So, in short: I would eat sloth meat if I had to. But until that day comes (I hope it never does), I am content to be googly-eyed over their insane amounts of cuteness and sternly reject the idea of any harm coming to them. Mmkay?
