PS3 Thane of falkreath

I have just downloaded hearthfire on my ps3 and I wanted to purchase lakeview manor in falkreath. But I need to be the thane and he doesn't give me the quest to kill the bandit leader, I have completed the stormcloak quest line and denger is the jarl. I really don't feel like building a house in the swamp or snow

please help is there any way to fix this?

I'd like to help you.

Were you talking to Siddgeir or Dengeir? If Siddgeir, the quest to destroy bandits is no longer acvhievable after the Stormcloaks win.

The quest to help the people of Falkreath should be available for dialogue after the liberation of skyrim where Dengeir should realize your service and offer the title of Thane after helping his people.

It was dengier his uncle. But the dialogue option doesn't come up and I already stole the letter and killed the vampire for him, but I'm not sure what else to do I've done like 6 bounty missions thinking the dialogue might pop up but nothing :/

Have you done these quests in Falkreath?

Maybe completing either or both could open up the dialogue option of "My Jarl, is there anything further you need?"

The assist people of "X" hold, just means u helped them out. This includes the odd jobs available from town to town. Most times u can just go chop wood or pick some veggies or something. Falkreatb has corpselight farm & there's a chopping block next to the inn, tho I haven't found the guy to sell it to yet. Try doing those & see where you're at afterwards.
