Scratch the Call of Duty part, I'm thinking a lot more Battlefield-esque.

Hmmmmm.... Really? because CoD outsold BF3 in a landslide, and BF3 had like 100,000 people max first day. CoD still gets over 500,000 sometimes just on 360 alone

Sales don't mean quality.

BF is a far more "hardcore" gamers game than CoD. It's less forgiving, less "arcade-y"...

Come on guys,it wouldn't be a terrible idea. Have any of you played borderlands? That game rocked and it was extremely fun on both single and multiplayer modes, plus it had PVP arena's where people could dish it out. I think the elder scrolls is great the way it is but having the option to have a pvp mode in an arena or in a dungeon wouldn't be hard to pull off. Although I have a feeling magic in its current state would be abused, lol.

No that is a lie. CoD gets more money in tourneys for prizes and has a vast amount more players in gamebattles. "Arcade-y" games are where "hardcore" gamers started and will always finish
