A song about how people pay no attention to actual song lyrics, but the "hook" (melodic chorus) in the song. It's funny how many people think this song had some deep, hidden meaning. Also that people thought John Popper was singing "heart" instead of "hook". It's pure irony that those people bought into it, once you figure out the true meaning of the song.

WTF is the point of not paying attention to song lyrics yeah fair enough a catchy beat or a good riff etc... is good but lyrics are what make a song special.

Been listening to a lot of Razorlight today one band I always wanted to see live but was destined not to. I missed them at Glastonbury in 05 I got side tracked by Yomamda getting it lit in the dance tent, my ex bought us tickets to see them at the MEM in Manchester for my birthday in 06 but got took out by a pissed up lorry driver on the motorway and ended up spending the night in hospital and in 07 they canceled a gig I got tickets for.
