i will try my best to make this sound nothing like a single classified listing, but i realize now that that may not be entirely possible.. married with two kids here people, just looking for fellow skyrim nerds to talk with while playing...

i used to have a lot of friends i would party up with who all played skyrim at the same time, and now they've all moved on to different games, leaving me playing skyrim all by myself.. if anyone has an xbox and just wants someone to chill with while playing, my xbox g/t is the same as my name on this forum... hit me up, send me a friend request saying you're from the forum, and lets play. makes the game feel less like a single player when you can talk at the same time..

Welcome, by the way!!!

You're going to love it here...I know I do (I've been a member for 3 weeks and have made over 300 posts!!!) and even if you don't get an XBox chum, you can always nip in here mid-play or post-play and discuss!

All the best!

Please remember, everyone plays their own way. There is no right or wrong way to play Skyrim. Sometimes it's nice to get a different perspective on what you are doing, or trying to accomplish.

My husband also plays Skyrim and sits with me when I play. We share ideas, strategy and discuss the game at length. We also sit and laugh when I am totally into what I am doing and he screams " HEAL HEAL HEAL......oh pl*ps you're dead, I hope you saved recently "

Where in Oblivion did I say that he should not play in his way ?
I just say that he is not Role-Playing ( Because speaking to people in the middle of Skyrim can't be very immersive ) , and well , that is BAD in my book.

Is that fur coming out of your ears?
Either I talk to people in Skyrim, or talk to myself when I leave home....either way, I'm hopeless!

It's when reality blurs with fantasy and I'm listening to the Lyndsey Stirling version of "Dovahkiin" on the bus whilst wishing I could take a war hammer to the youths with rave on full blast through their iPhone...

LOL.

Reality blurs with fantasy...

A few months ago, I saw an eagle flying overhead. Gulls were screaming like crazy and I looked up, saw the thing out of the corner of my eye, and immediately crouched.

But wait, no bow on my back. And it's not a dragon. Relax.

It's like some bizarrely entertaining form of PESSD (post Elder Scrolls stress disorder).

I also sometimes have a reaction to the sound of flags flapping in the wind...
