I see a lot of threads pertaining to how people can make quick cash, or how to go about getting the 100k achievement. I have, the opposite problem. Pretty much the only thing I've purchased all game from anyone is a few lock picks, proudspire manor (and all of the furnishings), and paying off the odd small bounty. Right now I'm sitting on 125k, and over-encumbered, needing to do a run of selling my loot, which will rake me in probably another 15k. Is this the just the nature of being pretty far in the game? (I feel like theres so much more to do.. I haven't started the college of winterhold questline, the companions, or much of the whole main storyline/ dragonslaying bit at all.

What should I spend my money on? Training in skills I don't even use? I don't really see a need in obtaining another house when I have the best one.

You eventually reach a point when cash becomes completely redundant because you have so much of it. That's why I always buy training whenever I can and I dont spend any points investing in trading related perks. Best to save them for ones that give me an edge in combat.

I am to the point where i have around 150k, all Daedratic Armor, Greatsword, Bow, etc... My follower has all Ebony armour, I have spare DragonPlate complete sets sitting in the chest in Breezeway. I am going to buy another house, and start filling the weapon racks with super weapons, and mannikens with super armor.

I went on an enchanting / Alchemy binge, and took the best enchanting potions, then made Alchemy gear, then used alchemy gear to create stronger enchanting potions, then enchanted more alchemy gear, back and forth, finally ended up making super Smithing potions and smithing gear. I get a 102% armor improvement potion, wear 22% increase amulet, ring, armor, and gloves.

Lydia's Ebony Armor is at 244, and my Dragon plate is around 246. We are rolling battle tanks.

Heres an idea for you though, when you go to a cave, fort, etc... get all the daggers, boots, etc... Anything light weight, then enchant them, that way you can build up your enchantment skills.

Whenever I see someone selling Alchemy ingredients, I always buy everything they have, regardless of what it is, I buy it all, then I sell them my enchanted equipment, or potions.

I am at lvl 100 in smithing and enchantment. I am at like 89 on alchemy. I want to build it on up to 100 also. As your lvl in alchemy increases, so does the potency of your potions. Price also. I can make an invisibility potion, that costs over 2200, and sells for around 1600-1800. So I use all those ingredients to make potions also.

After a while, money is not an object, and I just buy every training, or alchemy ingredient i can find. I also turned the difficulty up on the game to second from the highest difficulty. With all the bad ass equipment, the game is to easy on lower levels....

A Stamina damage / Absorb magika iron dagger sells for over 600.

Potions of invisibility, slow, damage magic regen, sell for a lot.

Haha while a major waste, I like the creativity of the idea :p

I doubt it's a waste... cuz sooner or later you'll need to do it again. :p
