Welcome To The Underground
Anyone still play this, just started a new game forgot how good this game is. If you do still play what is your favourite armour, weapon, place to go, if you have a follower who do you use and what is the best place you like to visit.

I think my favorite armor is the t-51b winterized power armor you get after completing Operation Anchorage DLC. My favorite weapon would have to be the Combat Shotgun, and I really like exploring Point Look Out.

I don't like using followers that much.

I just love the Tesla power armor. My favourite weapon would be the sniper rifle i think, or the Super Sledge. I like to explore the ruins of DC, and i liked the Pitt DLC the best.

KaitoGhost

Sea Sponge First Mate
The Gauss Rifle would be my favorite, and the unique Combat Armor, that increased your action points (I forget the name of it, you get it after rescuing these guys from the hospital in the DC ruins). And sunglasses. Gots to have my shades.

I haven't played in a long time, let's see. I can't remember my favorite armor, it was probably a mod. I liked the Double Barrel shotgun from Point Lookout, it fired both barrels at the same time, and as far as favorite place to visit, Point Lookout. Desmond was just great, and the dreary vibe was great, and the locals "We gonna bury you in this heree swamp!"

But I still like New Vegas much, much more.

Oh, do I ever! I prefer it over FONV any day! I have almost every trophy for it as well. It was because of Fallout 3 that I discovered Bethesda personally.

Favorite armor: Winterized T-51b power armor (Armor you get from Operation Anchorage DLC)
Favorite weapon: Chinese Assault Rifle (automatic rifle plus it's very powerful and well supported) Tesla Cannon (can shoot down vertibirds as well as deal heavy damage), and Gauss Rifle (scoped and very powerful even though it's one shot at a time).
Favorite place to go: Each vault and reading their entries and how they went wrong (it's very fascinating) but I often go to Rivet City for business
I usually have Fawkes as my follower, he's very powerful and can take on Super Mutant Behemoths head on without dying. The only other one I have following me that I seek out is Seargent RL- 3, he also helped me take on Behemoths with little to no problems.

I have bee always drawn to Fallout 3 mostly because it sticks to the original Post-apocalyptic wasteland setting (minus Mothership Zeta DLC) instead of a Spaghetti western adventure. My favourite weapons would have had to have been was the humble 10mm pistol and that the Victory Sniper Rifle. Armor-wise I would be kicking it in the Tribal Power Armor, It makeshift design and the fact that it was one of the best armours to use because of the AP bonus made it my main choice.

Monolith

The Progeny of Vikings
I enjoyed both Fallout3 and Fallout: NV. Hard to say which is superior.. they both had their pros and cons. I think I might have a slight preference for the apocalyptic gloom of Fallout3, which made FO: NV look almost cheery by comparison (though the wild west flavor grew on me and I ended up digging it very much). Then again, the latter had some better gameplay elements, so it's a tough call. The best DLC was Point Lookout, hands down! As Dallas Arbiter mentioned above, the foggy swampland and the irradiated mutant rednecks created a depressed, creepy ambience that was somehow totally believable. It hearkened back to several movies of the genre, such as The Book of Eli and The Road.

I can't wait for the 4th game in the installment. Rumor has it it's gonna be set in Boston.

Brotherhood of steel and point lookout dlc, do u have them and are u on xbox 360.

Yeah I have all the dlc but on the pc got a bundle on steam a while ago Pointlook Out is plops hot. I quite liked Mothership Zeta has to be one of my favourites the aliens cracked me up, Broken Steel was alright nothing too write home about but it raises your level cap from 20 to 30 so kinda worth it.

Operation Anchorage - not the greatest dlc in the world imo I couldn't wait till it ended.

The Pitt - was alright pretty dark and messy I liked it quite a lot.
