I tried to do this the other night but ran into maintenance or something, effectively deleting my big long beautiful post. So here we go again.
My name is Jacob and I play Skyrim. Sounds like the beginning of a support group meeting. Anyway, Skyrim was my first Elder Scrolls in the series. Xbox 360 version. I fell in love with the world and the lore. I went back and tried Oblivion, but after being spoiled on Skyrim's super easy leveling system I could not wrap my head around the whole major/minor, do-this-if-you-want-+5-every-time thing. It's irritating and I haven't played the game in a good 6 months. I'd like to get my hands on Morrowind since everyone seems to agree it's an absolute masterpiece.
I'm playing three different characters now with ideas for others. The first is a bosmer archer unfortunately named Prisoner. Newb mistake there, he was my first character. I pressed B when I should've pressed Start. Full elven armor with elven bow, sword, shield, and dagger at his side. Not a magic user other than the occasional Candlelight. He's a Stormcloak supporter; finished that questline in Ulfric's favor. I like to think he left Valenwood to escape the dogmatic ramblings of his parents who were large Aldmeri Dominion sympathizers.
The next is Noriowynn, an altmer mage, and ex-Thalmor. He's sickened by Talos worship and hates the Nord people for perceived slights during the Battle of the Red Ring. I've got him running around in mourner's clothes, copper/ebony circlet, random fine boots (they're black though), and gloves. So it's a fashion show, basically. I really love the role playing potential of this game, so I get into, uh, dressing my character up. I'm debating what enchantments to put on him, but I'm sure I'll get around to asking that later.
The third is my favorite to play so far, although he's only level 11 at the moment. Kebaral, a redguard Alik'r warrior, decked out in Redguard clothes, boots, an Alik'r hood, with dual scimitars. He's got on studded armor right now honestly until I can get enchanting/alchemy maxed and throw some enchantments on those duds.
I play Minecraft a lot, again on the Xbox...my laptop can barely run Minesweeper let alone Minecraft. Assassin's Creed, Halo Reach (haven't gotten 4 yet), Zelda, Metal Gear Solid, you name it I probably play it. Honestly my backlog is ridiculous. I've probably got 15 games on my shelf I haven't even started or at least gotten 10 minutes into.
