Your most hated and beloved enemies

What are yours? Beloved might be an odd word to pair with enemy, but I've found some to be really entertaining to fight.

I'll start with mine.

Most Hated:
• the Chaurus
While it might be one of the lesser enemies, these things annoy me and scare me to no end. I have a fear of centipedes and creepy insects in real life so I naturally despise giant versions of them in the game. Frost spiders annoy me as well, but not as bad as these guys. Their eggs are very pretty though I have to admit.

• Hagravens
Oh my word these women..things..are vile. They remind me of the evil witch from the Disney animated film Snow White. I don't like how they randomly disappear and reappear and their destruction magic always kills my follower if I have one. Not only are they visually gruesome standing still, but their mannerisms and the way they move is disturbing. Everytime one starts creeping towards me, I envision it saying "I'll get you my pretty >:)"

• Slaughterfish
I love the new look Bethesda gave these little fishies.. but ****, they are irritating. That is all. lol. Are they supposed to come out of water, by the way? Not sure if this is a glitch or how they attack now.

Most liked:
• Dragon Priests
I know, most of you are probably shaking your heads right now, but I love them. They offer a pretty hard challenge at times and their loot is always the best. Even if I'm getting beat to a pulp or running around just trying to get a hit in, I know there's going to be an awesome reward at the end.

• Thalmor
Not technically a free roaming enemy, but I treat them as such :p I hate them with a burning passion but I'm always super satisfied to put one of their pompous bums on the ground.

• Dragons
Yes, this might seem a bit cliché, but I can't leave them out. While some enemies have proven to be more challenging to me than the almighty dragons, I still get excited to see one flying around in the distance. At times I don't even run to go fight them..I'll crouch down on a nearby hill and just watch them fly through the aurora borealis sky while peaceful music plays. It's surprisingly peaceful.

Most hated:
*Falmer. They're creepy as! I greatly dislike the way they move around, same goes for hagravens. I always think that if falmers and hagravens had babies it would be the creepiest, most messed up enemy ever.

*High level mages. I'm a user of warhammers, I cannot stand fighting mages since they just stand at a distance shooting fireballs at me. I much prefer combat with enemies with weapons.

Most loved:
*Large groups of bandits. With my daedric warhammer, I can pretty much one-shot all but the strongest of bandits. It's fun charging in with a power attack and smacking down several guards within the span of ten seconds.

*Dragons. Because who doesn't love the fact that they're a flippin' dragonslayer??

*Giants and mammoths. I enjoy it because I remember how quickly they used to destroy me, now I can charge into a giant's abode and destroy the giants and their mammoths without batting an eyelid. Plus they always have the best loot :D

Hate, Hagravens - because they keep hiding, and throw some magic..
Love, Giants - loot.

Hated:
Chaurus - Boring ... as ... hell. I generally find insect mobs dull anyway.

Loved:
Dragon Priests - They aren't as common as other mobs and they generally have a special intro (rising from their tombs).

Meh:
Dragons - Love their look but they are too weak ass now for me to care. Ancient Dragons are a joke to fight now. I would of liked them to be tough throughout the game with a one-hit ability regardless of your strength and power. Maybe if they could bite you in one go, but you could dodge the attack if you were quick enough.

... they can bite you in one go. it happens all the time and you can't dodge it.

Aye I know they can bite, but one hit kill? Not a chance once you max out armour. This is on Master difficulty too.

I think they meant when the dragon chomps you, as in, putting you in it's mouth and biting down while shaking it's head. I was used to their normal biting, but then I was surprisingly chomped for the first time the other day by an ancient dragon and couldn't do anything

I'm tired of Draugr. They look great, don't get me wrong... I'm just sick of them.
I like the Falmer, hate the Chaurus.
Sick of wolves... they're like mosquitos, annoying, but little else.
Dragon Priests are an entertaining fight. The trick is to get near enough to get a sneak attack in before they fully rise from their tomb... which is downright impossible if you have a companion.

Loved: Dragons - As a mage, I have a myriad of choices for how I want to handle any fight, so when I go up against Dragons, I like to use my lower end destruction spells to draw out the fight as long as possible.

Hated: Draugr - There are some things in gaming I really need a little break from and zombies are one of them. I know they fill a necessary niche for the game, but they just don't get me excited in any way... If they had a really great takedown/character death animation where they snacked on your character ala. Resident Evil, I would look forward to seeing them. Actually... zombies in TES games don't seem to do much biting... that should be changed too...

Alas, armor does NOTHING against magic with out an enchantment. An enchanted 'Fine clothes of frost resist' would do better against ice spike than a full set of dragon bone

Favorites:

Dragon priests: Always with a different specialty and the masks and staffs are great
Giants: 30 foot tall, club swinging, foot stomping awesomeness
Mammoths: SOO fun to take down entirely with archery
Vampires: Psht. Yeah. Like they're gonna take me down. Werewolves ALWAYS beat Vampires. Dream on, Edward.
The Entire City: 99 to 1? No problem

Least Favorites:

Ice wraiths: Easy to kill. Hard to catch.
Stormcloaks/Imperials: Where the hell are they coming from? I just killed all of them!
Dwemer Spiders: Uchh. So annoying. And why the hell do they have to be so small??!!
Falmer: I was once a lovely Snow Elf. But now I want to wipe your A$$ off of Tamriel!
Quest Characters: WHY WON'T YOU DIE????!!!!

Ahhhh! I have been enchanting them with Health Regen and the like. Have sort of ignored magic all together for the most part. Thinking about switching up and using only magic for the next half of the game.
