Entering a cave near Whiterun, facing a Falmer at lvl 4 (i know its suicide but i can take it with a few good swings and evading), die and have the game crash every single time i try to quickload.

I have to say the companion AI issue is a huge annoyance. They will jump in front of me every blasted time. I also love it when a magic user (companion) conjures a stupid frost atronoch (sp) directly in front of me, in a doorway, while I'm lining up a shot. MASSIVELY annoying.

I agree with alot things here, Backwards flying dragon that never lands, the random dragon that i dubbed "The troll dragon" who appears hovering above me but never fights and freezing at loading screens, omfg i freeze on a daily basis and my disc is brand spanking new. but what i think is the most annoying? Ascendant mages and they're "ROFLBEAM" attack i swear i butchered an entire cave of all assortments of mages and necros and all of a sudden BAM full HP and im dead, i just see a tide of frost. DAMN YOU ASCENDANT MAGES, DAMN YOU TO HELLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!!

it pays to be an assassin, companions only hold you down, only good as fodder((barely)) and packmules

I really only like them for the pack mule ability. I certainly don't need their help. I am a full on Assassin. 100 in sneak and 100 in archery plus all perks and gear to boot. I have lost count of how many times I have killed my companions because they are stupid.

Indeed my friend, indeed, sometimes i go into a dual wield blood craze and accidentally kill them and i never understood, i make them bad ass super suped up armor yet they act as if they are wearing paper, and weapons, you dont know wtf they will equip you can have a super OMFGAWESOME axe and they will use the 20 damage sword. bethesda really needs to fix companions give them better AI, have the AI tell you what they prefer and specialize in and make it to where if they are meleers they will MELEE and not sit there shooting pissarrows with a default bow((WONT EVEN EQUIP A DECENT BOW I GIVE THEM))

I take back what i said about my annoying issues by far the most annoying, second to the ascendant mage, was the dark brotherhood quest*SPOILERS* where they burn down the Sanctum and when you go into the coffin game freezes, every, time. it literally took me 6-7 attempts having to turn my xbox off and repeating the entire sequence over and over again till it worked

True that Verac. I armored up my companion in enchanted Dragon Armor and gave her high level staffs yet she cast weak spells and does so while frantically running toward the enemy.
I have even killed at least one companion on purpose for being stupid one to many times. That little piece of retribution felt wonderful.

For me is most anoying thing when I want to switch diffrent spell on a right hand, I can't turn off current spell from right hand. It only switching R or RL... so if I want to switch I need to go all over to items equip weapon on right hand and unequip it and go back to magic to pick from diffrent catogries of spells to select desired spell! Thats realy pain in the a...! -.-

The most annoying thing for me is having to pause and scroll through menus during combat. (I play on xbox, dont know how it works on PC) Combat should be fluid and intuitive instead of pausing to switch weapons, spells, use potions etc. This was a problem for me in Oblivion, but somehow, instead of fixing it, they've actually gone and made it worse in Skyrim.

This, but on a larger scale, i.e. the entire UI is poorly designed. I think they hired the same development team that designs the Second Life viewer UI.

Also, how they made it so unbelievably tedious to place items on shelves and furniture in your house and then decided to throw in a bug that randomly puts them on the floor when you revisit your home.

Are you playing on a gaming console or a PC? On the PC you can press P to call up your spells and then use the right or left mouse button to select the spell you want in the right or left hand.

For me, its not a major thing, but what annoys me is how they took the enchantment "night eye" out. I love playing as an assassin, but i like seeing in the dark and it annoys me how only kha'jit have the ability night eye. I like how in Oblivion u could enchant an item with night eye (fav enchantment for sneaking in the night), but now that enchantment is gone and its only a power >.>
