Arwen thought for a moment remembering her family and what it was like.
“It was nice, the feeling of home and comfort. Although it wasn’t as glamorous as I saw kids in the summerset isle grow up to. It was still home. My mum and dad didn’t like elves much but they pushed past their hatred of them to raise me. Unlike my sister. But anyways it was nice.”

Mathias nodded With a small smile before turnign to Niquilner, his smile faded slightly away "and what about you Brother, what was it like to grow up in a coven of necromancer?" he asked With a slight hint of venom at the word necromancers, but not directed at the silver masked Altmer

Niquilner thought for a second before answering, "It was an odd experience. I never thought of them as family and they never thought of me as anything other than a toy, a plaything for them to use. A few were nice to me and taught me a bit of magic, but regardless I had to learn everything on my own. It was not the most pleasant experience."

Arwen nodded as she ate her food, listening to Niquiler and Mathias talk. It’s funny both of them had something to do with necromancy and her? Well she was just a toy but she didn’t really care at the moment.
“We’re you born into the coven? Or did you join and if you joined how so?”

"I don't know. They always said I was given away to them by my parents. I've spent many years trying to find my parents after the coven was killed. I heard a rumor that a prominent Altmeri couple who were deeply involved with necromancy fled to Skyrim over 27 years ago, so I came here, chasing them," said Niquilner, answering Arwen's question. Sometimes it was painful to think about his parents. He often wondered how they could do something like that. He tried to not let his pain show though.

Arwen looked at him and thought for a moment.
‘An Altmer couple involves with necromancy? This is interesting.’
She then realized saw his pain, not through expressions, but in his eyes. Everyone shows emotion in their eyes, even her.
“Niquiler I’m sorry if I hurt you in any kind of way. It must hurt to think about your parents.”

"It's quite alright Arwen. It's just hard to imagine somebody doing something like that," replied Niquilner. It was odd to receive compassion, but it comforted him that they cared about how he felt.

Arwen shrugged she could imagine plenty of people doing that. Herself, her parents. Sister brother anyone you name it.
As long as they have a good reason.
Arwen stood up and walked to her tent placing her bow and her arrows just outside of the tent.
“I’m going to get some rest I suggest you too do the same.”
She took off her mask covering her face and crawled into her tent and fell asleep on her sleeping bag.

Mathias nodded and went to his tent after eating the meat and taking his medicine "Your right, good night brother, sister" he told them as he shut the tent flap, laying down and closing his eyes

"Good night, sweet dreams, etc etc," said Niquilner as he crawled into his tent. It took many moments, but eventually he drifted to sleep.

Morning came apoun them and Arwen got up ready for the day to start. She got her bow and arrow ready to start and early morning hunt. Carefully she snuck out of the camp trying now to wake up her brothers.
Once she was out of the camp she started to make her way to an open field of snow to look for food. She saw a pack of wolves, a sabercat and some horkers. She decided to focus her attention on the horkers. She drew her bow back and let the arrow fly hitting one horker in the head, soon she killed almost all of them and she started to rummage the corpses for food.

Niquilner woke up to a freezing morning. He slowly crawled out of his tent and saw Arwen was gone. He looked around to see her amid a field of dead animal carcasses. "Well, well, look who's having fun massacring helpless animals."

Arwen raised her eyebrow and looked up at Niquiler she didn’t say anything but she continued to get the meat off of the horker and collect their tusks.
“What are you doing up so early brother?”

Mathias woke up With a start, he put on his armor and stepped out of the tent. He saw his brother and sister talking as Arwen was skining a horker, he stepped over to them With a small grunt as he took a sip from his medicine that he had mixed beforehand "good day brother, sister" he greeted them.

“Good morning Brother.” Arwen continues to skin the horker until there was nothing left but blubber. She layed out a rag beside her and layed the meat on it. She then tied it up so she wouldn’t have to hold the bloody meat.

Niquilner was about to reply before Mathias rudely interrupted. "Hmph. The cold woke me. Sorry to keep you waiting. I assume this," said Niquilner, gesturing towards the carcass, "is our food for the next few days."

"True, true, though I rather dislike the taste of horker. Too fatty, " replied Niquilner, turning back towards camp.

Arwen frowned and started walking with the bag of meat banging against her back while she walks.
“If it’s too fatty for you then do you want something else?”

Niquilner thought for a moment. Then he said, "I wouldn't mind hawk. It was a delicacy in Summerset." It wasn't, but he was interested to see if Arwen could kill something other than bloated piles of water-going fat.
