Guys, please remember that this thread is meant to be for RPing in the Bee and Barb, as per the title, and tales should continue in other threads if you find a partner and decide to start your own story.

    Thanks.

EDIT: Also, please keep in mind that proper spelling, grammar and punctuation are expected in all RP threads, unless specifically stated otherwise. Please make the effort in having respect for yourself and other RPers by using 'proper English.'

A young girl, roughly the age 8, with blonde hair, and eyes blue as the sea, she slowly pushes the door open of The Bee And Barb inn, she wears rags over her body, dirt on her face, she holds a scar on her left cheek. She speaks in a soft quiet voice, "um...excuse me....I-is this enough for a cup of water..?" She holds out 3 Septims.

(well I WAS going to post last night, but then the site crashed)

Off beyond the bustle of the pub, the front door opened. The heavy creak was accompanied by a silent footfall soon after it. The sun, just barely touching down against the northern mountains, showered the Bee and Barb's newest patron with a golden light before they shut the door again. The figure was tall. Too tall, perhaps, draped in a long, frayed black cloak. Leather boots caked with mud walked towards the corner of the tavern, the stranger taking off their hood in the process. A mess of tangled hair fell into sight. Once, it might have been as white as the snow-capped mountains of Windhelm. Years of harshness, however, had faded its brilliance, greying the roots and edges with dirt. Two pointed ears sat beneath a braid, tied along the back of her skull. Beneath her sharp brows was a pair of striking, golden eyes.

With her feet sore and her bones heavy, Avonis Tyrel pushed a small pouch of septims towards the inn keeper. "Mead," came her order. "And some fresh meat if you have it." Her payment was taken and a tankard of drink placed in her hand.

"Will you be needing a room?" the inn keeper asked.

A tiny smile came to her lips. "No," she said. "I have other plans for a bed tonight."

"Curious." The inn keeper, an Argonian with a voice like scratching wood, leaned on her knuckles. "Don't get too many High Elves down south. You off to the college, I wonder?"

That small smile dropped from Avonis's lips. "Not every High Elf wants to waste their time behind spell books." Bringing her tankard up, she gulped down a third of her drink in one go. That seemed to be the end of the conversation, as a plate of food was given to her not soon after. Content to be left alone, Avonis began to eat.

There was a blast of light coming from where the 8 year old stood. "By Sithis you all are selfish people. You see a starving orphan and what do you do? You walk by like its a damnable vampire! Wanting nothing with the little wrech!" The now 18 year old 'child was soundly beating the patrons of the inn. "Damn...Boli was right. You all only care about war and bedding wenches" with that she stormed to the cellar.

With fury flying the room, others could here the faint talk of two people. "This isn't Orlais anymore. Nor is it Westros. Or-" "I get it! This is different then any other realm why visited" "then why are you acting like you know everything?" "B-because..." "I want non more of this. Go search for someone in need of currency and Get Back Here!" After that the lady left the cellar to upstairs.

(still a little unclear as to what just happened, but I'll give it my best)

Avonis, having indulged in the first decent meal she'd had in months, turned to the child just before things got out of hand. Her meed half-way to her mouth, she was on the cusp of asking what an orphan was doing in a place like Riften, when suddenly a great shrieking filled the room. Something about selfishness and bedding wenches? Baffled by the child's temper, Avonis barely stayed upright on her stool as a scuffle broke out. By the time things had settled, her plate of hot, fresh food had been knocked to the filthy ground.

Avonis sat there, staring angrily at her plate. She'd barely had two bites. Irritation plain on her long face, she stood upright, towering over the other winded patrons at the bar. "What was that?" she asked no one in particular.

    "Th...the child?" the innkeeper asked.

"That was no child." Knocking back her stool, Avonis removed her bow and knocked an arrow against the string. Her long, swift legs carried her down to the cellar, stopping just at the half mark. Eyes locked on the thing - for Avonis was convinced it was no child - she bent a knee and pulled, holding the fletching to her lips.

Her arms were steady as she spoke. "You owe me a dinner, monster."

With a swift move of a hand the elf's arrow was, instead of flying straight at her, it went flying to the side. "You dare threaten me?! I'll have you know if delved into more dangers then you'd have seen in your entire life! I-!" "Dreleah!" Before she could finish a man's voice boomed across the room. "Enough of your fantasies and pay up for ruining this woman's meal!" The supposed 'Dreleah' glared daggers at the man as she tossed coin to the elf.

Dreleah was too leave until the many, angry, patrons blocked the way both sides. "Oooohhh loovely." All she did was narrow her eyes and wait.

Avonis, a finger still on the string, looked at the fallen arrow curiously. "Hm." Some kind of magic user, was it? She returned her gaze to the pair of them, grabbing the coin pouch from the step beneath her. Thankfully for both parties, no tricks were tried. Without a word to the man (she had no interest in being friendly, or indeed even thanking him for making the brat pay up), she took her fallen arrow and bow and walked back up into the main hall of the tavern.

Seeing Dreleah cornered by the onslaught of angry patrons, Avonis felt a smirk tug at her lips. "Funny. You would have thought people would enjoy having their dinners ruined." She sat herself at the bar, paying for another meal that she was determined to finish. "Go on then. You've faced so many dangers before. Surely a mob of angry Riften dwellers is no challenge for someone of your skill."

"Oh not at all" she said smirking. Again a swift move of her hand and half the patrons flew across the room. "That's it? Wow. I'd have expected more." With that she walked out with a grin upon her face and her head held high.

Not long after, the man came down and saw the arguing of people. "I DIDN'T MOVE!! SHE MOVED ME!!" "IMPOSSIBLE! YOU MUSTA MOVED CAUSE NAW SHE BE GONE!" "ENOUGH!" The man yelled once more "what did she do THIS time?!"

((OOC: RP Forums died quite a bit with the age of the game. They will likely pick up again with a new TES game sometime maybe in the next two years or so. Fallout 4 is coming out soon, so you may be able to find a forum site somewhere for it, if you like Fallout. Another alternative is to play ESO. I haven't played it personally, but I imagine that there may be an RP community in it, or a website for it somewhere.))

In a thick, fine coat, a burly orc climbed down from the second floor, a broad grin on her face. She cupped her calloused hands around her mouth and called, "Oi! Listen up!" As heads started to turn towards her and some of the murmurs quieted, she called, in a quieter tone, "Right, then. If anyone is looking for work, and don't mind a bit of rough trekking and possibly some bloodshed, come speak with me." She took a seat towards the back of the room, at a mostly empty table. She opened her arms wide, her smile wider, and leaned back, waiting for potential people to accompany her.

A woman walked into the tavern looking around at the noisy bar she sighed and sat down.
"Get me a drink, that.... what is it you call it black-briar mead? Get me that."
As the lute was playing she drank her mead staring at the dagger she got from her dad before leaving her home for adventure.
Looking around she saw an orc, and walked on over to her.
"Your looking for someone to accompany you? I can help, just depends on where we are going."

The orcish woman grins up at her from her reclined position, folding her burly arms across her chest. "You look somewhat capable. Tell me about yourself. What do you do? What are you good at?"

    Accalia looked at her.
“I’m not like other people I am a merchant and a the thieves guild leader, and I’m good with bows and a lot of one- handed weapons.”

She cocks her eyebrow and glances around, past Accalia. Luckily, it seems that this area of the tavern is mostly clear. "Thieves'' Guild, hm? What's your name, then? I'm Garakh." She looks back to Accalia, a devious grin crossing her face. "Actually, don't answer that just yet." Her voice lowers. "If you're really so great a thief, get me some of that Black-Briar Reserve from behind the bar. After that, I've got another quick test for you, if you don't mind."

Accalia smirked and nodded. She walked on over to the bar and went behind it, crouching down she took the black briar reserve, without anyone seeing her and she walked back to the orc and gave her the mead.
“Next time don’t question my skills as a thief... but anyways what’s the next test?”

Garakh grins and uncorks the bottle, immediately taking a swig. Not a moment later, she pulls the steel dagger from her belt and lays it on the table. After finishing her quick swig, she takes the dagger in one hand and splays out her other hand on the table. She stabs the table between each finger, carefully, taking her time. Then she turns the dagger around, holding the handle towards Accalia. "Do that, but with your eyes closed. Slowly or quickly, whichever. This will show me that you have excellent physical awareness, as befits someone who will be fighting alongside me."

Accalia rolled her eyes, she found it silly and stupid that she had to do this but anything for adventure.
She got out her dagger and got out the strongest drink she could get and drank it, after that she took her dagger nightlight and quickly went to stab the table and put her hands where her dagger is and quickly but carefully went in between her fingers showing her that she was as more than capable to fight for herself and allies. And she didn’t open her eyes
