Please help! I'm playing as a High Elf.
I'm not a werewolf, nor do I have any disease resistance.
On the 3rd day of having the Vampire Disease my character glitches out, the red screen doesn't come up, and her hands just turn invisible. I have Sacornistic (think that's how you spell it) vampire mod installed. I've done everything I could think of.

Also, My character doesn't gain any weaknesses or buffs as a vampire and keeps the vampire disease till it's cured. I've tried even using mods to turn her into a vampire, but that doesn't give any of the weaknesses and dulls out immersion since I don't have to feed.

Shiney, let's be bad guys.
If you are using mods one of them might be screwing things up. Try contracting vampirism without any active mods.

Goto Control Panel > Uninstall > Skyrim or TES V whichever it is.

Then go grab Fallout NV, Fallout 4, ESO or maybe even Oblivion. That will solve all your problems.

Being sarcastic and real with you as I experienced even worse issues, so many to the point I began to realize that getting Skyrim to work properly became a full-time job when I was supposed to be relaxing.

Come on. Not true in the least.
The problem, as I see it, is that Bethesda didn't put enough emphasis on the fact that mods can and WILL screw up your game. Mods should be treated as a bonus. An unsupported, dangerous bonus, not as an essential. Play Skyrim Special Edition without ANY mods, or maybe just the unofficial patch, and you won't have any problems.

I'm not completely agreeing with you here - however - you actually bring up a good point. Less mods, less is more. That is somewhat true.

However you got to remember that sometimes compatibility will bring things down too and that's another problem I had. That combined with issues like this one and the stock game was just too basic for me with it's own issues. Anyways it is what it is.
