Already a vampire

I picked up a potion that can turn the character into a vampire and I had accidentally drank mistakenly thought it was a health potion, so now every time I go to riften to do the dawnguard quest. To get the tip off the guard I'm hunted down like a wild animal. Do I start all over again or what? since I'm pretty far into the game, I really don't want to start all over again

I think it depends on what additional glitches you may be experiencing from the mod.

For instance, I drank one (probably the same mod potion if you're on PS4), and was unable to feed. If you let the condition progress to the fourth stage, then, yeah, everyone is going to attack you. If you can feed and bring yourself back to the first stage, the NPC's shouldn't realize you're a vampire. Unless there are other glitches at play.

But it's so hard to tell if your a vampire when your a freaking cat

Just go into your magic and check out the active effects. It will tell you what stage you're in. There will also be a red flare, a sort of sizzly noise, and a message in the top left corner of your screen as you transition to the next phase. When in doubt, check to see the active effects, though.

I'm probably at the part of no return. It would be nice if there was a mod potion that turns you back to normal

You can get vampirism cured in game.

From UESP:

After the first three days of infection, or if you obtained your vampirism from Lord Harkon or Serana, the task of finding a cure becomes more complex. While visiting any inn, talk to the innkeeper and he or she will send you to Morthal to speak to a man named Falion. This will start the quest Rising at Dawn. However, if you are in the last stage of vampirism (and do not have Dawnguard installed), the innkeepers may attack you on sight, so you may need to feed in order to lessen the effects of your vampirism, making NPCs friendly again.

You can also cure your vampirism by becoming a werewolf through the Companions faction. However, once you contract lycanthropy, you gain a 100% resistance to disease and cannot be re-infected with Sanguinare Vampiris by normal means while a werewolf.

With Dawnguard installed, if you were previously a werewolf at some point prior to becoming a vampire, then you can ask Aela to restore your lycanthropy once, which will cure your vampirism (by making you into a werewolf).

Well, you have the Companions. Becoming a werewolf will cure vampirism. And you can cure lycanthropy by finishing the Companions questline.

Probably try to feed before then, though, so you don't trigger a fight.

Reboot.

Start all over. Wipe the slate clean. The fact you even did this shows you have an apathetic habit, which is very easy for all of us including myself to fall in.

There is no harm in starting over necessarily. Sometimes the only way to correct a mistake is to accept responsibility and let go.

Embrace the chance to begin new and take it slow until you know for sure what you want.

And stay away from Dawnguard, God I hated that place/missions. Loved Riften though.

I actually did just that and now I'm not being hunted down like a dog. I'm a werewolf now, but what if I do get bitten by a vampire what will happen?

But before I restarted the game I was a lvl 25 and I had all of the quests for mages of winterhold done, I was in the dark brotherhood on the brink of killing the emperor, and I had most of the Imperials and the thieves guild quests done.
