Kohlar the Unkilled

Time for some ale
Greetings! :beermug:

The only mage I've ever created was a Dunmer Dragonpriestess type, and I enjoyed the character so much I'm considering reviving her in magical new Skyrim SE with mods. The first time around she wore the jagged crown atop Zhakriisos or Dukan, depending on the situation, and the Ancient Nord armor set. It all looked superb, and this time around I can even equip her with a dragon priest cape, and craft my own jagged crown to put enchantments on. If anything managed to get too close, she'd just pull out her chaos-enchanted dragon priest dagger, which was OP enough to render any melee situation superfluous.

As for magic mods, things that add additional spells and such, what do you suggest? There are a handful of such mods, I've noticed.

Additionally, I'd always fantasized about somehow having Master Neloth as a full-time follower, and AFT makes this possible. I'm aware that doing so would break the DLC Dragonborn questline, but I can live with that. Or perhaps I'd wait until after completing that questline, as there are many valuables to be found in Apocrypha... but Apocrypha is such a nightmare at low levels... Anyway, have any of you used AFT on Neloth before?

Thanks for reading, and ale for all who contribute! :beermug: :beermug:

I'll add that I'm still pretty new to mods, so assume nothing when it comes to my knowledge of them! I already have Summermist Enchantments, and thoroughly enjoy it.

DON'T EXPECT SPOILER WARNINGS FROM ME
Apocalypse spell package
Spell Crafting for Skyrim
Immersive College of Winterhold (optional, its large, so if you don't want heavily scripted mod be warned)
Mastered Magicka (buffs magic, in really good and rational way. Details on description page.)

I've no idea if any of these mods are available for SE, I haven't checked. Apocalypse should be. Can they even be installed on Xbox one? sry I don't really know how this stuff work on consoles.

As for Neloth and AFT thing. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have voice lines for followers. If this is true, then that might be a problem. Though, you can try searching for Neloth follower mod, if there's any.

Edit: Apocalypse and Mastered Magicka have SE version. Spell Crafting does not. as for ICW, there's a discussion in Posts where a guy got it working in SE by doin some weird pl*ps that I don't understand.
OH, and there's no Neloth follower mod. Not on Nexus at least.

Apocalypse and all mods that are created by the same person (I know there's Summermyst Enchantments and Imperious Races are by the same people, but there are a few others), are all really well made, and add a lot to the game, for me. Any playthrough, regardless of whether I'm a mage, are a must-have for me. They work well together, and they really enhance the game. Only thing is that one of them is an overhaul of the perk trees, so that can mess with other mods that affect the perks as well.

But like Papoy said, Immersive College is a nice overhaul of the College, and Mastered Magicka has cool impacts (though it's one of the mods that would conflict with the Apocalypse-related perk overhaul).
