Nephor The Shadow Stalker

Strike swiftly and silently.
Hello old friends and newcomers. Been a while since I've wanted to write anything but I feel I must ask. I like many others suffered from Skyrim fatigue. I poured hours upon hours of my time developing a master build. After a while it became a bit of a chore. Now with the purchase of a PS4 and slightly prettier graphics and some fun but bland mods my interest has resurfaced ten fold.

With this new found curiosity I decide to venture out my comfort zone of the shadows and RP as myself. I could've chosen Nord because I am German but I decided to go Breton for a more D&D style play. Like making myself a half-elf in Baldur's Gate. [emoji12] I became inspired by Fudge Muppet's Arcane Warrior build and ran about 30 hours with it and noticed that there wasn't much Arcane about it. After debating on archery or destruction for ranged damage I decided to make a Spellsword/Battlemage.

Now with this new build it's going to cap out at 60 and a littlw beyond that because one does not simply play Skyrim for a few minutes. Now enough yapping onto my build. I've decided to go with Heavy Armor. Now I didn't care for it because all the heavy stuff looked like it was made to sell toys save a the Blades Armor and Nordic Carved. While we're on that I'm taking Smithing only up to advanced armors and grabbing arcane blacksmith for further improvment on tank. One-Handed won't need much besides the standard 7 points to get the ever cool decapitation perk savage strike. Alchemy is the key to this build and I'm working on it over all the other crafting skills but it only needs 7 points up to poisoner for those extra hard hitting fire attacks. Last is magic. I don't really like any of the master spells so I'm only going up to expert in Alteration (whilst also grabbing magic resistance, stability and atronach) and Destruction. Specialising in fire magic. Dual casting isn't essential but it's nice to have variety and impact is a must have for obvious reasons. Last is Conjuration, only novice and up to soul stealer. Oblivion binding is handy but it's situational and most conjurer's don't summon dremora lords. [emoji12]

So what's your build, do you plan on going beyond level 50 and do you venture out your comfort zone often with play styles?

I have been Assassin/thief wood elf and I got sick of the same old build for so long.
So ,now I am going red guard male armed with swords in both hands and heavy weapons.
My red guard is an assassin/ warrior . So I am always wearing heavy armor and light armor with block and I am going to invest in more perks once I aim on maxing out my two handed heavy weapons skill perks.

So, I can continue to level up.

So ,wish me luck.

I wish you luck too on your build.

peace out.

Bit of odd combo to mix armor. Then again not everyone is min/max gamer. [emoji14] I find block to be more of a 2 handed build tool. I use it with my Arcane Warrior build. Only took up to quick reflexes to help dodge power attacks. I play on Expert and higher sometimes and try to maximize a build in all forms of combat. At later levels I might take the dual wielding perks after getting the bound dagger. I know how fast a sword, axe or mace in the right hand and a dagger in the left are, so 2 weightless weapons might be like mach 5 or something.[emoji12]

My current character is a Nord, but not a traditional one. I mainly use light armors, and I'm trying to make my primary weapon a bow, but so far I've been using one handed swords more because the enemies get too close, and a bow is almost useless at that point. Still, I am trying. I also use healing spells when I need to, and very rarely I use destruction spells. I also try to increase my smithing skill, because I like to try out new armors, even though I mainly use one. I don't have a level goal to reach; I'm just going to play as her until I get tired and make a new game. I do plan on focusing on side-quests more, and mod-added quests, like ones in the Beyond Skyrim series of mods. Mainly this character likes to explore the lands. And I think that's all I have to say about her.

I'm basically playing as the main character of my fan-fic, Diamondheart.

Archery is the hardest combat skill to raise without powershot and quickshot. Once you get those 2 you're like Legolas. Sadly no shield sufing. [emoji14]

I'm currently playing a male redguard as a murderer/wanderer.

He uses heavy armour and wields a sword and shield. He wanders the wilds with Jenassa and raids every bandit settlement he finds. He has 7000+ bounty in Whiterun and I'm aiming to get 1000+ bounty in every hold at the same time. He doesn't work for the DB and kills for not the pleasure, but the glory.

My go to is a Khajiit assassin. I joined the DB and Thieves Guild as murderous drug dealer. I started the main story and it was really weird being such an evil character.

A nord. A Stormcloak. A racist arsehole to elves and a champion of the nord people.

I have played the good nord before but this guy is old school and pissed off. Ancient Nord Armour, no magic except healing and all types of weapons.

No perks in combat or armour skills, only speech, smithing and block.

Sounds a bit like the Knight's Teacher build but with racism. I only played a Nord once and he was a light armored sword n board warrior. Other than that there wasn't anything really special about him. Sounds pretty cool though and a lot of thought went into it obviously. Or none at all. [emoji14]

Khajiit assassin thief stealth archer. Dagger as a secondary. But at lvl 28 im gonna mix it up and add illusion for a nightblade. or night bow i geuss. he did the dawnguard. because his style relies heavily on stamina regen soooooo vampire is a no, no. Im looking to get him ready to bump the difficulty to master and also maybe create a side warrior to do master idk. He has serana as a follower as well as a husky named scheolang. He has full nightingale armor but uses the shrouded gloves as opposed to the Nightingale gloves. Rides arvak. Uses like 4 different bows depending on what I want because I cant let any of them go and on an impulse bought a 2500 septim glass bow. has 100 sneak and uses shadow warrior perk and dagger for hard bosses.

One of the reasons I decided to try to make archery my primary weapon skill instead of secondary is because of the Green Arrow. She even wears green armor, although that's more of a coincidence than anything else, as a previous version of her wore that when she wasn't much of an archer. Also, I'm planning on making another post for a new character I have (I'm trying to have them both at the same time) once I really figure out what I want to do with her. I might also upload screenshots of them.
I really need to get quick shot!

Oliver Queen AKA The Green Arrow is a master sword fighter so one-handed as a back up is not out of character. Also I really don't like Arrow. So far I've not liked any DC's big screen and television productions. Except Heros of Tomorrow. Haven't seen that one yet I didn't make a character based off of Green Arrow. I based mine off basically every Legolas shot in Fellowship of the Ring. [emoji14] It's my favorite of the trilogy though least favorite book. :D

We are really getting off topic, but I haven't seen any Lord of the Rings movies, nor have I read the books, but I probably should. Personally I haven't read many comic books, because there aren't any stores near here that sell them, so most of what I know about DC, Marvel, and others is what I see on TV and what I'm told by comic book YouTubers. By "Heros of Tomorrow" did you mean DC's Legends of Tomorrow? I actually like all 3 of those shows, but that's just me. I've heard that the comic version of Oliver is different from the TV show version, and I can't compare character between them ( I've never read one of his comics), but I've heard several origin stories about him, and my favorite is from the show. Hm... too off topic, I need a screenshot!

Yes Legends. As you can see it's not top priority right now. Yeah we drifted off topic but it is fun. :)

I love the green arrow. The show. I thought about making a character based off of him and taking down crooked wealthy people but Idk.

If you do that, take out Nazeem first. I know there's no proof that he's evil, but... do it anyway!

I'm playing two characters at the moment, started after getting back into it after buying the Special Edition (**** you, Bethesda! You've ruined my life again!)

My first is Giselle (pictured in my avatar), but I'm playing her piecemeal as I'm trying to write a journal of her exploits as I go. She's a self-taught 25 year old Breton mage who's moved to Skyrim from Cyrodiil to pursue her dream of joining the College of Winterhold, but unfortunately her curiosity often gets the better of her and she can't help but study everything she comes across. She once spent an hour in Windhelm studying the ever-burning candle at Candlehearth Hall to try and figure out how it worked! She's particularly skilled at lightning spells and alteration, with a minor in conjuration. I've also tapped her into some restoration perks for magicka regeneration. I can't remember what level she's at, as I'm not at home to check.

My second is Andraste, a 35 year old Imperial woman who served as an officer in the Imperial Legion for 12 years. She left the Legion when her friend, fellow officer, and lover, Hrogar, was killed during an Imperial raid on a bandit camp in Cyrodiil. She has a scar on her right cheek from the same day, which she is both extremely self-conscious about and tries to hide with her hair, and is also upset by as it reminds her of that fateful battle. Although she is extremely jaded and wishes to avoid most types of people, she still possesses a strong sense of duty and honour, and finds herself helping others reluctantly because she can't ignore people who need help - though not without complaining about it in the process. She originally came to Skyrim to visit Hrogar's grave in Falkreath, where he was buried with his parents, but she ended up being captured by the Imperial Legion, of all people, when she bumped into some Stormcloaks near the border and was mistaken for one of them. After Alduin attacked Helgen, her sense of duty impelled her to deal with the crisis, albeit unwillingly, and she has gradually found herself being dragged into the battle against Alduin. She's an expert at two-handed and one-handed swordsmanship, is well-skilled at wearing heavy armour, and is a competant marksman to boot. She's about level 40 now, I think? During her time in the Legion she also picked up some blacksmithing abilities, and has forged her own set of steel plate armour. She still hasn't managed to get to Falkreath, but she has decided to retire in Skyrim once all this is over, and has bought a house in Solitude (after, again, reluctantly getting involved in that nasty 'Wolf Queen' business). She hates magic with a passion, too, finding it frustrating to deal with and dangerously wide-spread. If she had her way, mages would be banned and locked up in a tower somewhere...
