Just wanted to inform y'all that I am now starting to put my updates and revisions into Kyneth's CC on the site. As I stated before, the changes won't change his looks, actions, personality etc. At most the only change will be a few of his weapons. The majority of what I am now starting to add will give some valuable insight to certain aspects of his being such as personality stuff, his history, reference photos, voice, theme and a writing example. While I won't ask you or expect you to read it, it could help in understanding who he is in the RP a little bit better. IDK how long it is going to take to completely finish adding and updating, as I am busy with work and limited computer wise, but I wanted to inform all of you! You can see what new changes I have made every now and again on my blog at your leizure if you'd like, and if not I am going to be posting a link here at some point when it is complete. :D

Yet again lovelies, awesome work thus far. I really enjoy this RP and the lot of you, and truly TRULY love to see that there are still some awesome writers on this site after my long hiatus. It really has given me a huge boost in writing actively and often again. Excuse the cheese here, but I love you guys :) let's keep this thing amazing, and cultivate it into becoming a legendary thread!

Of course you may join! We have yet to have an interaction with the Dragonborn (as this RP focuses around NPCs) So I think it would be a nice start to have an interaction and see where it goes. If you are wanting to have the Dragonborn save him from the bandits via RP, that would be wonderful! However, giving him a blade he keeps to this day... I'm not so sure. Of course the Dragonborn would keep the blade, but I'm sure if the opportunity came to find a better one, he would replace it (He's a bit sociopathic - at least, that is the most stereotypical standpoint of the Dragonborn) But if you wish to still have your character give him a blade, I would be fine with that. Just don't expect him to keep it, haha!
With that said, feel free to place your CC here and I will review it!

For everyone else, I am making three more characters that will be open for interaction [ One that I may include as one of my main characters for this, and two side ones that are ready for interaction quests ] Rayyia is already taken and has a plan for development, but my Necromancer villain I posted prior is still up for grabs if anyone new joins or if any of you make another character. I will also be making a separate thread that I will individually post everyone's official characters there for reference, since this thread is a bit messy to find characters for referencing.

Ok, thank you so much @Zelda, I actually meant for the Dragonbourn giving my character a blade to protect him, haha. I was thinking a Glass Sword or Ebony Dagger, you know something the Dragonbourn would probably end up selling.
Continuing off of that, when I was talking about the bandits, I was thinking of having it being something along the lines of my character raiding a dungeon with them, which just happens to be the same one the Dragonbourn is clearing, and the bandits double-crossing S'engi(my character)and the Dragonbourn puts a stop to the commotion.
As long as that's alright with you, then I'll submit my character.

Hey guys, I just want to apologise for my horrendous inactivity and lack of communication. I hadn't realised how busy I would be and sincerely hope that I haven't held the thread back or inconvenienced you all too much. I shall attempt to get a post up some point today. Again, my apologies

Oh okay! I apologize for the misunderstanding then! I would be perfectly fine with that.
That sounds quite alright! I see no problems with that idea: with a double crossing, the Dragonborn would surely eliminate who benefits him: in this case, end the commotion. I hope I answered your questions properly!

This is another side NPC that is ready for interactions! I am still working on the other one, as well as my other main NPC. Feel free to message me if you want your character to interact with Keres or this new one, Djamila!

    The Mysterious Dancing Thief

    b106d118731f785e229c34cf0ec8b063.jpg

    Name
    : Djamila Abboud

    Nicknames: Mila
    Birth name: Djamila Zulbia Abboud

    Race: Redguard [100%]

    Gender: Female

    Age: 23

    Height: 5'7

    Weight: 130 lbs

    Sexuality: Heterosexual

    Laterality: Left Handed

    APPEARANCE

    Skin/Scale/Fur Color: Fair

    Eyes: Dark Amber

Hair Color/Horns/Ears: Dark Brunette / Black

    Hair Style/Feathers: Long and Curly

    Build: Thin but Curved

    Scars: None

Tattoos: Her upper back holds a outward burst of flames originating from the center and moving outward left and right, almost as if small wings.

    Piercings: Multiple on her ears

    Other:
For her performances, she often paints designs all over her body. These colors are usually the warm reds, oranges, and yellows.

    APPAREL

Constant Wear: Her clothes are light, thin, and flashy. A long but flowing skirt allows her dances to seem more elegant, but the dangling jewelry allows sharp sights from quick twists and turns. The warm colors of red yellow and orange are scattered all about her as well as the gold trinkets and jewelry to catch anyone's eyes. Her sandals allow freedom to her dances to seemingly move without a moment of rest. She also wears a mouth veil to cover the bottom of her face for her performances, and also, if needed, to cover her identity.

Casual Wear: To cover her very revealing body when not performing, she wears thick dark colored robes/cloak to keep her warm. She also covers her head with a hood, and wears boots over her clothes. If a dance is needed at any time, she is ready.

Armor: Because of her attire, she has no armor. Her cloak/robes keep(s) her warm and protected from outside elements. She is not one to fight, so she never is worried about the lack in armor.

    GEAR

Weapons: As a sly woman, she will always carry her ebony dagger - just in case. She'll never openly attack anyone lest they prove an issue of her well-being or plans. She also uses destruction magic, but the dagger usually does the trick.

    cbdh9zrnwgzcgvsrq.jpg

Magic (If applicable): For the woman, she simply uses destruction and illusion magic. Destruction for her performances (and maybe attacks) and Illusion for her performances (and maybe escape routes). She is very skilled with these schools, but other magicka schools, she knows very little to none.

Other: She carries a few healing and magicka potions, lock picks, and her journal.

    PERSONALITY AND VOICE

Personality: A single word could describe the woman: mysterious. Not much can be known of her. She is difficult to read and understand, which is intentional. Her psychological skills are very fierce: she isn't afraid to manipulate others to mess with their minds. She can easily hide her emotions, making it nearly impossible to know her thoughts: even a sly Khajiit will struggle. She will not hesitate to do what she needs: she makes her decisions quickly and efficiently, while silently. A living figment of mystery, she never fails to discombobulate others. She has a bit of a temper, but has complete control. She only unleashes it if she wants; this goes for all her emotions. A mystery to others though, she will remain.

Fighting Style: Stealth is her key. She never attacks unless attacked, as she finds it useless to her. She has a single dagger to quickly kill. She knows each race's physical weaknesses, whether a pressure point or immediate death. She isn't afraid to poison secretly, and if she must be extremely defensive, she uses destruction magic. If confrontation, the usual occurrence is her use of illusion spells to escape without a trace.

    Habits:
+ She finds herself constantly humming to her songs stuck in her head
+Remaining expressionless (in a way: it is more of a sly sultry look, but is her default) to not allow others to read her
+ Twirling fire around her finger when bored

Voice: Rena Strober - Fire Emblem: Fates, Azura
+ This is one of Djamila's Songs she sings and dances to:

    Likes:
    + Performing (Dancing and Singing)
    + Gemstones/Crystals
    + Gold Coins (Wealth)
    + Hot Weather
    + Her Group

    Dislikes:
    + Tough Crowds
    + When her thieving fails
    + Being questioned
    + Criminals (Despite being one)
    + Perverts

    MISCELLANEOUS

    Affiliations: Sun's Fire

    Afflictions/Fears:
+ Being caught and going to jail
    + Rape
    + Spiders
+ She is not very strong, so attacks frighten her, but she does not back down

Properties: She owns her traveling caravan which her group, Sun's Fire, travels with. It is red and adorned with many hand-crafted wood carved designs. It has a a large sun painted on the side, with bursts of light going outwards. It is a larger caravan than usual, as it houses her traveling group of four. Two horses guide the caravan: one named Gold, and the other named Harmony.

Job: She is a traveling performer: she sings and dances as her fellow bards play their instruments behind her. She is no ordinary dancer and singer, though: she a fire dancer. She sings and dances, but adds her own touch of fire. Much like ribbon dancing, she twirls fire around her almost dangerously. It is truly a spectacle to see. However, she is very great at distractions, and with her group, they steal. Simple to do with so much else to see.

Combat Skills: Her destruction and her illusion magic are her stronger suits, which makes sense, as she uses them almost every day. She is fierce with a dagger, and can easily slip away from other situations. She is a glass cannon: strong attacks, weak defense in combat. Her partners are who protect her: they are extremely talented in combat, as they are no ordinary instrument players.

    Other:
+ She has only been caught stealing twice. The first time, her partners killed the witness. The second time, she was able to coax the witness into keeping his mouth shut.

    HISTORY/BACKSTORY

As a child, she grew in a slum-like place: filled with crime and poverty. She was one of four children, the second youngest. In order to survive, her father sold skooma and other foul drugs to buyers. Her mother was a traveling maid, but most of the town knew she was also a prostitute. Because of their poverty, the children were quick learners: the two eldest often jumped tourists for money, and the youngest pretended to be an orphan beggar. Djamila? She was a dancer. She had watched a few women perform a show by dancing, in which they were paid heavy amounts. Another few times Djamila sneaked into a few other shows of which people sang as well. She thought it was easy pay, and wanted to be the very best: she wanted to be better than those she saw.

As her family 'worked' she began her practicing. She would sneak into the wealthy parts of a nearby town and listen to music, which she would dance to. She would write in a journal songs which she made up with instrumentals. However, to make sure her family thought she was working, she would steal: pick pocketing was a breeze, and easily made it seem like she was working.

As the months went by, she felt she was lacking something in her performance: they were all the same. Singing, dancing, music. It was not until a fateful day that she found what she was lacking.

At the age of twelve, a group of thugs burned the dense slum town to ashes. Because of the children's work being outside of the slums, they survived the fire. Their parents, however, did not. Watching their homeland burn, Djamila thought it was... beautiful. Not the screams of people dying, but the crackling sounds the fire gave. Not the sight of people burning, but the curling vibrant light the fire gave.
Fire, was her answer. She would dance with fire.

Years past as she practiced day after day, singing, dancing, playing music, and of course, creating fire. Magic was frowned upon in her homeland, as they despised how it manipulated the mind. She did, however, find a nice destruction instructor, as most of the Redguards tolerated the class. As she grew older, she became smarter, and more clever. She knew she could not make the living she wanted merely from performing at such a young and inexperienced age. Instead, she had a plan as well: theft. Pick pocketing was easy, and with the distractions of her performances, she thought it was perfect.

By meeting with people, she was able to learn Illusion spells under the table. She continued to practice until, by the age of sixteen, she had her first performance.

People were mesmerized by her fire dancing. Most would find her voice well enough for entertainment. With the dancing, they loved it even more so. Her fire? People couldn't help but watch in awe. And with her illusion spells, nobody would even assume she would use such a thing to her benefit. It was easy for her to make money, and she became well known throughout the towns.

By the age of eighteen, she had acquired a few fellow 'friends': more like paid mercenaries with a skill of music. With her caravan, she escaped Hammerfell and her family, leaving her poverty behind with a rich future ahead of her. Her dreams of traveling were then accomplished: Sun's Fire, was now the talk of the bard world. She had no need for the college, as she was talented enough. And with her group, they were protected from bandits and could implement their thieving ways.

As more years passed, she became closer with her group, and Sun's Fire had performances planned in so many far away places. For her, the next stop was Skyrim.

He wears sleek black, fingerless gloves for improved mobility whilst in combat. Hybrid-make boots made from the durability of Ebony and mobility of Dragonscale.
Casual wear: On his days off of adventuring he'll don clothing made from soft cotton, he loves the way it feels on his fur.

Weapons: Armed mainly with his modified Ebony bow, he also carries two glass daggers that take on the color of transparent ruby, instead of the traditional green, when he was experimenting with smithing and ended up having a stash of rubies fall into the mix of Malachite. The fusion proved to be sturdier and sharper than any ordinary dagger.

Personality: S'enji is a relatively stubborn person but eventually is kind hearted to anyone who gets him to open up. He usually camps out in a cow hide tent and blanket made from a sabre cat pelt. He asks is Co-Owner of the Ah'kiri Caravan passed down to him by his mother. The caravan is mainly managed by the other co-owner since S'engi is usually out adventuring.

Combat Skills: Like previously mentioned he is a crack shot with his bow even at almost impossible distances due to enhanced eyesight from his feline heritage. He sparred with wooden swords with friends and his kin as a cub which led him to aspire to master bladesmenship. He attacks quickly and ferociously, leaving fatal blows, making the foe die instantly or slowly over time.

Other: He used to be a notorious thief known as the Shadow Leapord when he was only 14 years old. He fell out of the craft of thievery when talked to by an ex-thief who talked to him out of the practice and told him "It would never get him anywhere but a cold bed in the nearest hold's dungeon".

    History/Backstory:
S'enji was born into quite a normal Khajiit's life, living life as a merchant working a caravan. He was originally given the name Ri'suun after his great grandfather. For 17 years he lived in Elsweyr traveling with his parents in the Ah'kiri Caravan. But a trade gone wrong led S'enji to travel to Skyrim and escape the pain brought upon him by the horrible encounter.
This mysterious traveler happened to be a Master level mage going by the name of Seline. She attempted to purchase a rare Amulet of Psymor that managed to end up in the caravan's inventory. Ah'kiri refused to sell it because she had grew a sentimental bond with it. After this Seline became enraged and summoned three Deadras and commanded them to slaughter the whole caravan and retrieve the amulet. Ah'kiri was the first casualty as the Daedra closest to her swung it's sword and slashed her across the chest, fatally injuring her. She fell to the ground lifeless, causing Ri'suun to cry out in agony in seeing his mother being struck down. Enraged at this, Cladicus lunged out at the Daedra ending his wife's life, and lopped off its head with his greatsword and swung out at next closest Daedra only to have it catch his blade and shatter it. The unarmed then Cladicus stood with his arms out, shielding Ri'suun from harm. The two remaining Daedras closed in on Cladicus as he told his only son to run and never look back. Ri'suun turned and ran, hearing his father being taken down by the Daedras. He got about 50 yards away when he felt a searing pain in his back as Seline cast a rune of supernatural energy and hit him hard on the back of his armor. The rune that exploded had burned with energy hot enough that it singed its pattern into Ri'suun's skin on his back. He fell down in pain into the sands being covered quickly by sands, shrouding him from Seline's relentless attack. About two days passed before Ri'suun finally rose up out of the sand and limped his way to the closest apothecary to heal his wounds.
A few weeks after this, he changed his name to S'engi as to not arouse attention by any affiliates of Seline. He spent the next 5 years living out a somewhat normal life in Elsweyr. He then heard of a special offer in Skyrim and it peaked his attention, so he made the long trip from Elsweyr to Skyrim. This quest offered to him played off very generously and he spent his share on restoring his mother's caravan in another country.
After about 2 years he got the Ah'kiri Caravan back to its old glory, and left it in in the trustworthy hands of his closest friend , who became the second co-owner.
He then set off to go adventuring the northern areas of Skyrim and the many rings holding treasures he could bring back to the caravan.
3 more years go by, and the business is thriving. He now resides in his home outside Dawnstar managing his mother's old caravan.

I absolutely adore your character: it is very well developed! However... I cannot say you can roleplay with him. He is almost exactly my character Valencia Ildrose. She is a knight of Wayrest with a talent for restoration. Sadly, I have already developed her biography of Wayrest, in which, clashes with your own variation of Wayrest. Because of her already being in the roleplay and so involved in Wayrest, Restoration, and the Royal Family, I cannot allow your character to be roleplayed. I am so sorry: I am sure you put so much work into him, but a character with the same attributes already exists. I really do apologize.

I love your character's backstory! Very emotional.
Before I can let you roleplay, can you please add fears/afflictions, and afflictions/weaknesses? However you want to add it, you need his fears and weaknesses. We also need a text color. You may use a text color already used, but try to make it related to your character in some way. (Symbolism!) Once you change that, let me know, so that I may review him once more.

I'm trying to find a way that you could change him so that he is not matching Valencia...
You would need to change Wayrest to another kingdom that is not already used. If you do that, you would also have to change the knights of the rose and whatnot, but that would fix his biography and his affiliation with the royal family and saving them.
For the restoration and priest... this one is a tough one. Being a knight AND skilled in Restoration is exactly Valencia... so that cannot happen. However, there are a few options, but they require him to change drastically. He is just so close to Valencia I am sorry I am trying my best to come up with options-
I am thinking the best way, which I'm sad to say, is to either make him a priest or knight: not both. He is just SO close to her, and she is one of my main two characters for this roleplay. If he was closer to lets say Rayyia or Keres or Djamila, I would change them for you. But she is a main of mine, and your character cannot be this close to her as she is already developing in the roleplay. Sadly, the only options would be to make him a royal priest for a different kingdom, or make him a royal knight for a different kingdom. I really do apologize, as that is drastically changing your character, but it seems there are not many other options. I am very sorry.

    Alright. I can redo it

Hey again @Zelda , thanks for reviewing S'engi. I'm so glad you like him. I went back and added what you asked for.

Uh, Kiv? You character doesn't know that ours were even going to Solitude in the first place. No where did Ihylin mention Solitude before you showed up, so your character wouldn't know we were lying about going up to Dawnstar. She's a hardened merchant with a silver tongue who can talk through basically anything and has a knack for making things up on the fly that sound convincing. Not to mention there are two completely different paths going to Solitude and Dawnstar, and she took the Dawnstar one and was going to navigate north from there.

Please don't assume that just because she's a pretty merchant, the caravan can't be hidden well and she can't defend herself.

Remember, the RP goes on behavior and speech, not through thoughts and narration. Not to mention the two highly capable warriors she has traveling with her. I think the caravan will do just fine up north.

I'd have to concur with Hart here. It seems like your character suddenly went from unawares to overly knowledgeable of their true intentions when she has no true reason or clues or anything like that suggesting their true destination. Your character approaching theirs so abruptly with insult because of their deception is not only unnecessary but impossible. You're taking OOC information along with in thought, private character information you character could not know and using it to your advantage here. It makes your character come across overpowered and very unlikeable.
