I would like to know what challenges other players give them selves, those that do.

I play a lot of competitive pvp, and, have gained a bit of skill, that's all.

Due to this, I found I was breezing through skyrim a bit faster than I was comfortable with.

I found a challenge for myself that is simple but fun.

there is really only 3 parts to this.

The only perks I take are in skills my race gets a bonus to.
I do not use potions unless one of those skill is alchemy. (warriors use food and D up)
Never dropping difficultly down from master.

This is actually a lot of fun because I effectively have 10 "classes" to play as, and I really do have to stretch what my character can do to survive, and I even have to leave areas I am not geared/prepared for.

So far the only character I got to 81 is my orc. rest are 20-60 range.

What do you do to nerf yourself?

Perkless in Skyrim

Bad to the Dragonbone.
One of my characters was played at level 1 for a considerable length of time. When I finally decided to level up she was level 53. I enjoyed the experience. Falmer and giants were always a threat.

Another character didn't choose any perks.

My current character is a non-combatant. He can't deal any damage directly and so must rely on followers and conjured minions to deal with threats. No armor or shield either.

I plan to make a Khajiit outlaw who may only trade with Khajiit caravans.

Also in the works is remake of an older character that had a Daedra quest glitch on her. She will be a vampire with a penchant for collecting.

Some additional "house rules":

-No buying of equipment from merchants. Everything must either be made myself or found.
-No upgrading of equipment.
-Only taking gold, jewelry and zero weight items from defeated foes unless I have a use for them.

I tend to enjoy playing God so I usually play on Adept difficulty but I may boost it to Master for my next run.
I like your idea of only picking perks from your race's bonus skills and having warriors eat food to restore health. Cooking would actually be useful for something other than Elsweyr Fondue. I'm an Alchemy addict though.

Time for some ale
Try the Dragonborn Archetype. You must use only: Iron hemet, scaled armor, iron boots and gauntlets, steel sword and steel dagger, banded iron shield, hunting bow. No enchanting or magic other than thu'um. Found or bought variants of any of the afore mentioned items can be used as well as found/bought jewelry. You may take the steel smithing perk, as well as any onehanded/armor perks.

I found this build surprisingly enjoyable; challenging but certainly doable. My skills were initially honed through countless hours of Demon's Souls/Dark Souls pvp. :beermug:

How do you backstab a Dragon?

Not sure if you're going to get what you need from Skyrim. Do you play ESO? The PvP there is pretty challenging.

And BTW: What is it like being such a Godlike creature that deserves to be worshipped for your Celestial Video-Game skills.

I hate you. I hate you so much. :)
