Why weren't the people upgraded to next gen. They look the same to me.

Really, really liking the new and improved visuals! Especially since the game still runs at 60 fps despite my GPU being significantly below recommended. :D

I do miss some of the mods I always used, but at least the unofficial patch and SkyUI (partially) are available for the SE as well.

Playing on a PS4, previously played on PS3.

Graphics are fantastic. God rays and weather is fantastic. Stable, and now with quicksave.

One thing i noticed was the colors are much clearer, not as "muddy" as on the PS3. Especially the blues.

Another thing is how far you can see; like butterflies: you can see those little buggers fluttering around from 100 yards away.

So this is my new SE Character, "Fluffy." Named after a cat i had when i was a little kid.

I haven't quite figured out why they added a quicksave option in the same menu where the regular save option is. All the quicksave saves (he he...) is one click or button press - and they overwrite one another (unless that's changed), so I really don't see the point.

Also achievements being unavailable if using any mods whatsoever... although ironically enough there's a mod on the Nexus that re-enables achievements for modded games. :p

Has anyone yet determined if any bugs were fixed from the final last generation version?

Only one Quest and one typing error is fixed

Bad compressed audio/sounds (Need to take older one soundfiles)
Textures well as You can see not much improvement, some textures are really pretty bad....

More stability, 64 bitt engine and DX 11 so more RAM (Yes there was roundabout SKSE/ENB but Win 10 capped that trick only 4 GB so no much over 3,2 GB)

No SKES or SKYui Yet

Some mods already out (Unofficial Patch has 2 problems)

I Just test modified older skyrim mods like CBBE, Apachii SkyHair and Staic Mesh improvement Mod....

I can't really play it right now. Main problem for me is that I am having some weird graphical issues I can't really explain. Until I figure out what it is, and how to fix it, I will stick with normal Skyrim with mods.

Since you're on a PC and have played it Modded, i don't imagine you would see much of an improvement at all.

My PS4 version kicks my PS3's version's A$$. From the lighting, to the graphics, to the speed, to it not crashing once an hour. Yeah, i'll take it.

Yes it will take time when go over my Modded Realvision/SweetFX/ENB/Ultra Skyrim, BUT THEN THERE IS
64 bitt stability, BIGGER FIGHT in Civil War Mods :), More memory usage 32 bitt 3,2 GB vs base game taking now over 5 -6 GB....
DX 11 effects like magic and etc... vs DX 9 Grapghics effects in Skyrim

I personally think it will be great for console players. I will keep it vanilla for nostalgia and play it once in a while. But will most likely forget I have it installed and stick with my modded game, which is running sweet as with no issues.
It is glorius, I only played on the 360 before. It's a huge graphical improvement in the X1, plus access to mods now too!

Okay,I played the game just today and yesterday as I took a break from it today but I'm playing it again later. I love the game as there are so many more options and included organic life in Skyrim is just amazing as there is so much to do. I looked above to a mountain and looked down a cliff and the graphic content blew me away.when you see fog ,rain or smog you can actually see the smoke like you do in real life.only very few bugs but not much.fantastic game the voices of people is more clear like real life.the look of the landscape looks more distant and real.

I still don't have PS4 and am reluctant to buy a whole new console just to play a game I already have.

So, are there any major improvements, beside visuals? What about the DLCs, Hearthfire, Dawnguard and Dragonborn? Do they come with it and we have to install them seperately? Do we get control over what features we can include? And have any of the wonky quests been rectified? I can't think of any right now, but let's just say those students that went missing from Winterhold - are their jewels actually presented as quests now? Are there still some quests that stay stuck in your journal despite completing them?

I might have more questions later, i should probably start a thread to have them all answered.

DLC game with SE. No need to install. Just graphical adjustment and 64 bitt engine and for PC dx11.

Those missing students are fixed mod called Cutting Room Floor, most bugs are quashed in Unofficial patch etc but those are mods You can get PC and XboxOne? (Not sure for Xbox), but NO PS4 thanks SONY.....
