What would your character do if they uncovered an Argonian plot to take over Riften?

Your character uncovers a letter detailing a plot to kill the Jarl of Riften and have an Argonian take his place through bribery and forgery. The letter also mentions the Argonian's main conspirators, surprisingly one of them is a Nord.

What would your character do in this situation? Obviously it would depend on your character's race, personality, beliefs and history.

Salthar would send agents, probably Argonians or other inconspicuous members of the Coven, and attempt to twist the plot to benefit him and his more important allies.

Leeeetss see here. I will make a short list:
-Michael/Taric The-Unbroken would, if possible persuade them to give up. If they resist, he will have no choice but to execute them.
-Ains Ooal Gown honestly doesnt care who is in charge in Riften. However, he is a Legate and Riften is important to Legion because it connects Skyrim with Cyrodill. He has no choice but to eleminate them.
-Dracula will wait till their plan succedes, then he will kill every1 who participated in that mission.
-Death God wont do anything.
-Veloran would hunt them down as soon as possible. In the name of justice.

Nothing. None of my characters have issues with Argo's. It's those dirty, dirty Nords that they have problems with (and that includes my Nord characters).

As long as there's a profit, none of my characters could really care. Just don't mess with my Honeyside or you'll get a shiv in your back or be burned alive along with your children.

Let's see.

Hjamar is a proud Nord and he would be enraged an Argonian's scaley butt sitting on a Nordic throne and ruling their land so he would attempt to end this plot before it is fulfilled.

Waifu being a Khajiit would not really care about an Argonian ruling Riften, provided he/she does not affect the Thieves Guild.

Skjall would be probably be okay with it as long as said Argonian isn't a tyrant or tries to enforce Argonian dominance in the land.

Nazgrim would just kill everybody for fun, and then turn in their heads, and the letter to the jarl for a reward.

Well, Jurgarik Greycloak (my Nord warrior) would try to find the person in charge of the plot, and intimidate them into stopping it before it happened, otherwise he has a greatsword for a reason. Amelie Wirich (Breton scholar/mage-y type) would probably stay and observe (safely) to learn about it and write in down for future's sake.
