ohhh that's because this one has enchanted her mace with fire damage :yay:, what you see is the affect of the enchantment :redfire:
Makes sense. I had been using magic on my last few characters.

In my copius spare time... when I'm not running Pledges or sleeping... ( nah just kidding I never sleep :D )

I usually find myself watching videos of this and that... watching other people fight bosses, do quests, talk about thing that I no longer have time for. One thing I've noticed however, is you know in some games it's like there's a lack of strong, dynamic quests. It's like that video up there ^ w/ her fighting the Imperials... why couldn't that have been harder... more epic like. Maybe throw in some Imperial in Heavy Armor or a Battlemage... something like that. And yeah, those Imperials are supposedly like a recruited militia although I used to mod Skyrim and I know for certain that the Imperial Battlemage template is available, there are also female Imperial soldiers avail.

See I just wonder about these things, I mean lots of people have gotten on here and pounded their guts out... and other people's guts out over this stuff and it's like we're adding all the color here. Yeah Beth created the damn thing to start with however it's just kinda lame sometimes. Dragonborn powers are also way way way too powerful and even if not there is no real counter to that kinda of power, well there is the occasional exception however one super powerful Necromancer locked behind numerous closed doors doesn't count.

It's like in Halo, you know... you have some awesome abilities and it's all checked though because Covenant is a strong, diverse and powerfully cohesive unit. It just seems in Skyrim after lvl 15ish you're a demi-God know. Goto lvl 15 and you're in charge for the rest of the game. Sometimes I want to re-install Skyrim, however I just can't justify spending that much energy on something that's not sufficient. Mods you say? **** you :D I've worked so hard - too hard to get Mods to work and I'm just tired of having to fight and waste so much time and energy having to go behind and correct a game that's supposed to be completed.

That take down of Solitude was epic but... it lacks so much and so does the Battle of Eastmarch. You'd think Ulfric would go into beast mode and turn into a Werewolf or something at the end there. You know, something spectacular to remember him by, something worthy of Song and Dance ie 'Sovngarde' ( Well until we destroy it but that's... that's beside the point ). Nope. One of the arch villains of the entire game killed with (1) blow from my Elven Sword of Fury.

Do you have any idea how much you sound like the same whiny people on the Fallout 4 boards that are constantly complaining about what "should have been" in the game?

Skyrim is what Skyrim is. If you want all the extras, use mods. That's the way Beth games are. I play on console and don't use mods anymore for the same reasons you notes. They're too much work (all that damnable administration!), I enjoy them all. Hey! I wish Dishonored wasn't 1st person, but, hey, whatcha gonna do.

You, of all people, know that. So what's the point of ranting about what you perceive as wrong with the game because it doesn't meet your standards and your expectations.

Face it. There will never, in the history of all gaming, be a game that will be exactly and precisely what you want or think it should be. If the point is to simply complain, is that not a waste of time and energy and just a cry for attention?

That's gaming. I've logged almost 6K hours in to Skyrim over the years and many, many hundreds of hours in to other games and know that they all "could have been better if...", but I realize that it's just me and what I would like.

It's enough. As long as I get some entertainment out of it then I'm satisfied and I'm adult enough to realize that complaining about it is not going to change anything.

I didn't really care for any of the Captain America or Avenger's movies and, frankly thought Deadpool was a PG13 at best, and I can suggest hundreds of changes that would have made them better, but, what's the point? Their not going to change because I want them to. I got a couple of hours of entertainment out of them and will probably watch them again. I'm satisfied.

As the Rolling Stones once wisely said: "You can't always get what you want...".

Incorrect.

As you know, Skyrim was never finished and we was never treated to the Hammerfell DLC (that everyone expected); All of which is fairly well documented online, across numerous websites including this one.

You and others of the same caliber always try to pull this trick where you place the burden of a problem on the person who has realized from experience that there are problems. And there are issues Double D. However, you are right about how some people go around 'whining' about every little thing or people who blow things up to make themselves look important, but that is not the case with me. I have participated in this discussion for far longer than I ever should and we have discussed almost this exact same thing previously, like the quests missing from the Civil War for example.

Now, you can play whatever games you like, watch whatever movies you like and post if you want, I don't care. That post was mainly discussing how the incompleteness or lacking of quests in Skyrim affects such a heavily crafted debate. I'm used to sarcasm however the thing is I know that none of us really has a voice here however if you see there is a problem and don't stand up to talk about it the chances are no one else will. Of course, sometimes people know there's an issue but can't get past the person calling it so they make light of serious deficiency *until* it starts affecting them. Then it matters and only then is it important.

I don't disagree with you at all, but, I maintain that, at this point, what is the point. It really doesn't matter and nothing will change.

A positive attitude towards SR is all I ask at this point. It's not perfect (OYE that's an understatement) and there is much missing and poorly handled, but, oh well... It's been 5 years. It's simply too late.

Let's hope that Beth learned some things and make TES VI all it can be.

I, for one, hope folks like you are in the BETA testing of the game. You have something important to say and it can only improve any game they make.

Beth isn't really known for listening, but, hey, at least we know there are folks out there that can and are more than willing to try.

Thank you for that BTW.

Look at Destiny DD. We all had... so much hope... for that game and they completely flffed it up. Angry Joe on YouTube has a great show he did on that one. Very entertaining.

Just an update :)

After playing ESO for quite some time (As an Altmer) I decided to change my affiliation from the Stormcloaks to now supporting the Daedra. Yes the Daedra. I support the concept of the Daedra ruling all of Tamriel and all of Nirin. Mortals are unfit to rule as they're driven by emotions.

I support Molag bal, Hircine, Hermaeus Mora and Sheogorath.

You spelt 'serving' wrong

I had my altmer character serve Meridia only; I quite liked the idea that she's on her own mission and believes in the dead staying dead
Eventually I sided with Ulfric because, well, Skyrim belongs to the Nords

And why should I pick one over the other? So far neither have shown me that one is better or worse than the other, they both have their bad and good qualities. Many say Stormcloaks because the name sounds cool, but I want to side for a reason, not the name.

I'm a male Khajiit (Destruction mage)

Please help me D:

EDIT: I really want to keep being a mage so does one of them have classes or can I just stay been a mage.

I only started playing 4 days ago and i have never played any other TES.
There areen't any real reasons to join any side other than oppinions on the side's reasons for fighting and stuff.
The Imperials are really kind in truth. they are the "good guys" in my eyes. The only flaw is something that only affects Nords- they signed a treaty that banned the worship of Talos (an "untrue" god in the eyes of Elves) to save the Empire from obliteration.
The Stomcloaks- well, the Cause is true but Ulfric is not. He doesn't really care about liberating Skyrim, or Talos, or anything. He just wants to be High King. This is what I gathered from characters- I even got hints of it from people who REVERE the guy.

So yeah. It all comes down to: Do you want to be red or blue? ;)
OH, and one more thing that doesn't really affect a mage character anyways: If you join the Imperials you can get Ulfric's Clothes, but if you join Stormcloaks you can get general Tullius' Light Armor.

Yes, I agree with this opinion the most ,on Stormcloaks v.s Imperials. It seems to me both factions, would want to taint Skyrim world into a more "dictatorship" atmosphere. and both sides are semi-racists to extents...Therefore, I choose to stay independent as always... with my philosophy of " less government involvement and regulations are always better" I fight with no faction, just for the best untainted and prisitine preservation of Skyrim. Also, i feel joining one side or another has no special advantages...
