How do you backstab a Dragon?
So... Aesthetically speaking, what is your favorite type of armor?

On the heavy side, while I do love ebony and even dragonbone, I have a certain affection for both Dwarven and Nordic Carved. The Golden Warrior or the Silver Warrior, either way. My only issue is that neither look good on females. I threw my other 1/2 for a loop last night when I changed in to the bar wench outfit (taken from the unfortunately dead bar wench in Falkreath (no - I didn't kill her - vampire attack - she was killed by an undead goat!)) from my Dwarven just before entering the tavern. He had no idea she was even female! Apparently, female Dwemer didn't have breasts?

On the light side, I'm partial to Dragonscale. Just love that stuff. On the other hand, a nice set of Vampire tends to be my go-to. The bodice is awesome.

As you may guess, my characters are almost always female. :)

Do you have a favorite?

Gonna start with: Saviour's Hide, always.
I'm fond of the Fur armors on the light side. Not a huge fan of any of the rest of them really. I can appreciate scaled and dragonbone is sufferable, but really I tend to just improve and enchant my fur armor set from the early game.
As for heavy, I like the Ebony armor the best. I like most of the heavy armors(I despise Banded Iron, Dwarven, and Daedric) but the best looking armor I've everr worn was ebony Armor, with Ebony helm, and Daedric Boots and Gauntlets(My hatred doesn't extend to them, just the chest and helm).

But really, when you can wear saviour's hide, why would you wear anything else?

Cool! I hadn't even considered Saviour's Hide. It is indeed a good looking "savage" armor. I also have an affection for Foreswarn armors. There's just something "sexy" about them.

Saviour's Hide + Gauntlets of the Old Gods + Boots of the Old Gods/Predator's Grace + whatever headwear you want(I dislike the forsworn headress), personally I went with a silver and sapphire circlet

Either ebony or Dawnguard heavy, and leather or scaled for light. I like both modded to have sleeves and pant legs, though. Cold in Skyrim.

Kohlar the Unkilled

Time for some ale
For me it actually depends on the character. Most often these days I mix. I've recently become a fan of the Savior's Hide. Kohlar looks resplendent in Savior's Hide with Ancient Nord Helmet/gauntlets/boots/amulet of Talos. I'd never even bothered to equip it until recently due to not being impressed with the stats, yet when I saw how it looked...

I admire Ebony armor, all but the helmet. To me it doesn't look right when worn.

My wife currently has Kharjo attired in Stalhrim Heavy with the Aetherial Crown and, wow. The look doesn't suit all, but it suits that one.

And finally, one of my personal favorite looks that I've come up with, Eric the Slayer wears Horned Scaled everything with the Stormcloak Officers Helmet (you know, the bear head), and swings an Ebony battle axe. The Ultimate Barbarian he is. :beermug:

Dawnguard heavy is my favorite heavy armor set. Though I almost always play wizard/battlemage characters and usually wear robes and no armor pieces. My Dawnguard Paladin Build utilized Dawnguard robes and hood (mod on Steam) and I wore dawnguard heavy boots and gauntlets with that setup. Looked pretty damn badass if you ask me.

I like my ladies in Vampire Armor, preferably the Royal, but I can deal with all the rest too. There are reasons, of course. They all look awful in Leather and the robes are just so... so... well... you know.

My personal favorite outfit is the Tavern Keepers outfit on either male or female characters.

I have the skimpy clothes mod so it makes everything alright :D

Until my Nord gentleman can dress like a Chippendale's dancer and still have a 567 armor class, I'm not paying attention. :)

Honestly, this is hard, as I find a couple of outfits to be aesthetically pleasing. Light armor, I really like the thieves' guild armors, particularly Linwe's/Blackguard's armor and the Nightingale armor. Heavy armor, 1st has to be the Ebony armor set, with Steel Plate and Dwarven armors being close seconds.

I can't really stand the orcish or scaled armors, unless on orcs.

Oh, my, Talos. I forgot about Linwe's armor. LOVE that set!

I am honestly gonna have to check this look out for my Barbarian Hunter Nord Loyalist once I make him that sounds completely awesome

I use dragonscale (male character) but don't really care for it.

Aesthetically, nothing beats alea with Forsworn armor plus glass helmet, gauntlets, and boots.

I have no use for armor that obviously wouldn't provide any protection whatsoever. Sorry, but a fur bikini isn't exactly armor, to me.
