No tricks like sneak or destruction permament stun. Just straight fight and maybe at legendary /master setting while you are level 8-10 without any super great.

Generally when i see bandit leader with shield and sword i am not so much afraid. I know its hard to kill that son of a gun but its just that, not very dangerous.

But the 2 handers...damn those things scare me. They have tons of range and can kill cam you in 2-3 hits.

Which ones you hate?

I personally have not run into the Ebony Warrior yet.
But of all things, the bandits with two handed weapons, or mages with lighting magic are the biggest pains in the arse.

Dual wielding Briar Hearts are child's play, as are pretty much every dual wielding NPC in the game. Dragon Priests are pretty damn tough and the highest level vampires available to whatever level you happen to be are ridiculous.

How do you backstab a Dragon?

Never had a problem with either DPs or with Vamps. They're easy. Dual wielders are child's play (particularly Briar Hearts?) Boy, you must be the most incredible fighter ever.

That or I actually play and analyse the game on higher difficulties and at lower levels than I have a business fighting at.

Dual wielders have a huge glaring weakness among melee fighters, making a sword and shield or a two handed enemy much more dangerous and difficult to deal with. Their attacks are typically slower and lock them in place, making it much more difficult for them to actually hit you. I'd much rather fight a dual wielding briarheart than really any of the other types.

Vampires are objectively the worst NPCs in the game. Specifically master vampires of an appropriate scale to your level. Dragon Priests are right up there with them. If you have no trouble with them then you should have no trouble with the game at all, as I can't think of a single NPC that comes close to their level of power, AI, and versatility. They have no exploitable weaknesses in their movesets, do tons of damage, heal themselves, have tons of hp, are fairly quick, and I could go on with the advantages they have over everything else. Every other NPC I can think of has exploitable weaknesses or simply doesn't have as many advantages, or both.

I've defeated a Master Vampire at level 1, and it was by far one of the most difficult fights I've ever had in the game. I did the quest where you kill that ghost guy that dual wields with his specially enchanted weapons in his cave full of draugr that spawn as the higher levels no matter what level you happen to be (at level one) and it was freaking hard. But it still wasn't as hard as a single Master Vampire.

The Chaurus Reaper encounters will always have a special place in my heart.

DON'T EXPECT SPOILER WARNINGS FROM ME
Nobody mentioned falmers, rly? Oh well, i do understand briarhearths and master vampires, but falmers are just cancer.
Armor cap, 700 hp with bonus hp regen and im down to 100hp in 2-3 secs? Rly??? Charus reapers share place with them, tough and contagious.
And how the hell do they shoot you with arrow when they are blind?? + weakest arrows in game, moderate bow and it hurts as much as deathlords ebony bow&arrows.

CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER CANCER

Karstaag and the Ebony Warrior

Karstaag - underestimated him and kept getting one shot by him

Ebony Warrior - Underestimated him and thought he wouldn't be that powerful. I just started using my spiders for fun and...Got three shot....

I wouldn't say I'd fear them per se but if the normal enemies were replaced by them, I'd never play Skyrim ever again

Yeah...I have a problem with underestimating things in Skyrim...

Me2, especialy after long playthroughs. When my char reaches peak of his/her power and i start new one. Thinkin' "this will be easy" and i get gangbanged by pack of wolves or bandits.

Yeah generally the only fighters I don't demolish on a dead run with a huge dual daedric magical mace hit are the bandit leaders, when they are backed up by three or four other guys. The worst is being caught in the middle of a group like that with nothing but two handed weapons being swung at you. And your light armor.

Do not forget no smithing.

On-Topic: I find that with proper planning, any fight is not that bad, but I would not want to fight either Karstaag or Ebony Warrior anytime soon.

There's the Ebony Warrior, the Ebony Warrior and the Ebony Warrior to name but three!

I do heartily agree with the comment about chaurus reapers, especially early on in the game. I hate those things. I also don't like the flying version because they're harder to hit. Somebody ought to invent skyrim insect repellent, preferably one that turned the little darlings against the Falmer.
