I have had Skyrim for only a month and have been loving it ever since I got it. I will admit at first I didn't think it would so great, the Elder Scrolls series I have given them a shot but they just didn't click with me and I would dismiss them after a while of playing. I was a Redguard in Oblivion and a Nord in Marrowind, but didn't really feel up for trying out Skyrim but I will confess I was wrong. I am glad I was wrong because Skyrim by far is my favorite in the series. The story starts off strong, cutting close calls, and they give quite an introduction to your character and giving a reason to select your race. Sadly my PSN account I was using was taken down for reasons I don't want to go over but I have started anew and it's going very strongly. I am a higher level than the last account and much stronger. Only REAL loss would be the amount of areas discovered.

Anyway, my main guy is "Rumar", he is a merc Argonian, originally was orange and yellow themed in the last account and built as a thief/assassin but now I have him red and black which matches beautifully with the Daedric armor I smithed up. The parts I'm missing have been used with Ebony armor which blends with Daedric very well (obvious reasons). He's level 25 now while the last one was only level 17-18.
My secondary character which I named this account on I am just starting today, he will be an War themed Orc, blood thirsty and savage. He will be dual wielding 1handed, I will scour for a waning magic enchantment so I can disenchant and give it to the appropriate armor and if I carry a shield I will give it to that as well. I will keep you guys informed on the character in progress if any are interested but I'm still pretty new at building so if you have any tips/tricks/techniques I should keep in mind, please feel free to post.

Cool story. It reminds me of the first time I bought TES: Skyrim. I had heard so many rumors about the game, about how good it was, so I decided to try it, regardless if I was losing my money or not. It paid of. I got hooked to the game as if it was a drug - I could get of the game for 28 hours. Yes, 28 HOURS!

Enough about me. Welcome to the forums, Benthos. I'm always glad when a fellow Skyrim-addict joins the crew. :)
