How do you backstab a Dragon?
What are your hopes outside of mod support that is, since I don't use mods except on the PC, if you're on console?

Mine are:

1) Stability - I hope that the FPS, stuttering, autosave and crashing issues are fixed
2) More character customization options - I'm tired of my darling Altmer Den looking like a freak. I can make her so much better in ESO and I'd like those options in Skyrim as well
3) MORE! Okay, just more of everything!

The graphics releases are beautiful, but what else would you like to see?

Stability for sure. Can't think of anything else. Plan on coming back just because of this.

also as a side note: I got my user name changed to something more fitting of Tamriel.

DrunkenMage

Intoxicated Arch-Mage
Much rather TES6, than buying Skyrim for a second time.

Though to add to the discussion I would agree on stability, otherwise it is even extra lazy on Bethesda's part to rely on mods to fix issues for the same game twice.

I would opt for a collector's edition, or the inclusion of some kind of merchandise since, Skyrim and Elder Scrolls merchandise is relatively rare. A statuette/figurine, book, amulet... or some such thing.

A bit tangential, but I would also like to be a able to venture to my local spirits store and buy some Black Briar Mead, Honningbrew, Suirlie Brothers, Tamika West Weald, Cyrodilic Brandy, and Nordic Ale. :beermug:

I agree, but, apparently, according to Todd Howard's last interview, it may be a while. They're looking at a new engine and putting a lot of eggs in the VR basket. Estimate is 2022, by which time I will be far too old to play it. So depressing. That's why I'm so looking forward to Skyrim Reboot.

Too old?

I like to imagine TES universe as something I'll have in common with my great-grand children. But I tend towards optimism. What will the world of gaming be like in 40 years..? Perhaps upon the death of my body, my mind could be downloaded into mundus. :beermug:

Stability, stability, and stability, even with mods.

TESV still has a lot of life left in it. I can be patient enough for TES VI to be released fully finished, rather than half-done.

DON'T EXPECT SPOILER WARNINGS FROM ME
Hmm, Destroy The Thieves guild to be in remastered vanilla, imo.
Im in mind with all mentioned above.
Write your own journal, i mean, edit it, the text. I think Morrowind has this, tho im not sure.

As for my descendants, only thing i can imagine them saying after their first run in Skyrim: "Wow, dad/grandpa, how bored you were with your life if you found this entertaining?"

And they have to make Virtual Reality for Skyrim Remastered. That.
Has. To. Happen.

I don't know if this is possible, but I would like dungeons to stay clear once I've cleared them. I don't want a quest sending me to a dungeon I've already completed, and have to fight through respawned enemies, that kind of kills the immersion for me. It would be nice if enemies didn't respawn inside mines and kill the NPCs that I've just sent back to work after making it "safe" for them. I would also like bandits to not respawn in roadside locations.

I would like to be able to use ferries and craft arrows and play the Aetherium quest, WITHOUT having all the other Dawnguard rubbish installed. So no vampires and no Serana and no Dawnguard or Volkihar factions. But the female falmer and chaurus reapers and face sculptor can stay.

New customization options for character creation. Perhaps make an elderly or younger looking character? All new hairstyles...

More marriage candidates. I would like to marry Eric the Slayer or Ahtar the headsman. should be possible as there are marriagable characters with their voices. And perhaps the ability to take other NPCs as followers, such as Valdr, Carcette and more khajiit and argonian NPCs. Maybe have more NPCs available as personal stewards.

The ability to craft weapons and armour from scratch, such as falmer armour and fur armour, and even make my own circlets.

The ability to wear more than one ring?

The ability to row boats would be a nice touch, and possibly go fishing, without jumping in the water all the time.

And have horses more durable. Possibly unkillable, unless I kill them myself, or sell them to a stable if I no longer want them. I also want to be able to cast spells from horseback, and to let my followers ride on horses as well.
