Why change the past when you can own this day?
HULLO EVERYONE. I am adding a new character in the mix and will have a CC up soon. @Pufftuff Are you still up for this? That goes for everyone else. We still doing this? Also if anyone gets stuck because of someone else feel free to ask me and I'll either move it via godmode or the two concerned parties can fight it out in the pitt. That or just discuss it with the other party. If I go missing and you need The Rangers to talk to your character you can do so, just make sure its in character haha.

    Wolfbane

Why change the past when you can own this day?
    Name: Kristine "Kris" Edward

Nickname: Sparks to everyone and Kris to her loved ones (She rarely let's people call her by her real name).

    Age:14

    Birthplace: The Commonwealth

    Laterality: ambidextrous.

    Birthdate: January 8th, 2271

Afflictions: weak leg joints from birth.

    S:3
    P:2
    E:4
    C:6
    I:10
    A:7
    L:8

    APPEARANCE:

    Eye color: Blue

Hair: medium brown hair swept back along with a bandanna.

She has a soft oval face, innocent eyes and a cute nose. All usually both covered in oil. She is also a fair skinned. Not too pale but not too tanned.

Scars: various small scars on her hands and forearms from working on her projects.

Build: slender. Due to her being 14 as well as having bad lega she doesn't have a lot of muscle or tone.

    GEAR/SKILLS

Kris always had a knack for tinkering; her and her father would spin hours building and rebuilding various things. This carried on to her current age and she herself has made a few small gadgets to help her through the wastes. She has made a chest piece with metal arm frames with built in magnets along with a robust leather leg holster to hold her weapons in place while scavenging. Seeing as how she is slender she has also made limb frames for her arms and legs to help her left heavy pieces of metal or even get out of a bad situation. Her leg frames wrap around her leg, click in place with latches and locks in tight. The frame is smaller than a standard power frame are pneumatic; she initially has to pump air to get them moving in the morning but the motion of walking and each step feeds a constant supply of power.

She wears a blue and red Red Rocket jumpsuit and most times it's zipped half way down and tied around her waist with her shirt or tank top exposed or have it up and roll the sleeves up. If it's cold enough than she'll have it up fully. Kris also wears a bandanna a lot of the time to keep her hair out of her face and for oil, sweat and blood. To protect her hands she has leather fingerless gloves and as well as her wielding gloves. On top of the bandanna she usually has wielding goggles hanging around her neck or on her head.

Her being a tinkerer and mechanic, she prefers something she can modify again and again so he prefers her pipe rifle. The rifle has a polished brass long barrel, an extended magazine, a black cloth wrapped stock with a spring to compensate for the recoil, a selector switch that works half the time. The body has slots drilled in to hold extra ammo or even an extra clip fitted in. The rifle even has a trigger guard and a detachable knife as a bayonet. As well as her pipe rifle she has her father's laser pistol.

When out in the field she brings her legs, leather arm pieces and wrist guards she made from old ripper chains and motors. What they do is they are used to deflect any Melee weapon. A button sticks out of the guards and forms to the palm of her hand. All she has to do is squeeze and they activate.

    PERSONALITY:

The good: resourceful, intelligent, caring, hates people, likes animals and her projects.

The bad: stubborn, can't stand being wrong, hates people due to getting lost in her work.

Likes: silence, working, music, her trinkets and reading what books she finds.

Dislikes: stupidity, people, and the lacking the want of knowledge.

Aspirations: find people who accept her, a bigger work place.

Fears: losing her "legs", losing people she cares about.

Kris is been on her own for a very long time. She already hates people but time away from there aside from trading makes her hate them even more. She'd rather get lost in her work or listen to her radio while taking time off. She is very caring and smart, thinks outside the box and will work with others, that's if she finds people she doesn't want to kill. Being a tinkerer humans fascinate her from a mechanical point of view. A human machine that doesn't ever shut up.

HISTORY: Sparks was Kris's only name for a long time. She was born to parents she never got to know. The Edward family lived in a small rural settlement that was safe enough to grow crops and live worry free, or so they thought. The settlement was overrun by raiders and the bloodletting began. People took up arms and tried their best to escort families with children out. Her parents made it out just in time to get picked off, dropping Kris and telling her to run. That's what she did; ran. She ran as far away as she her little legs could take her. She has survived by sheer luck, or was it bad luck instead of good?

For a while she scavenged what she could, eat what she managed to kill but it wasn't enough. It was one day, continuous downpour which was would for The Commonwealth that she was found under a makeshift tent by a traveling merchant in his early 70s. The man reached out his hand to the soaked and huddled girl, who slapped it away in kind. The man didn't leave however, he smiled and handed her his over jacket. Sparks crawled towards the man and he noticed that she was struggling with her legs. Trusting this stranger she accepted the jacket and let the man pick her up who told her that about a warm and safe place that they could stay. Sparks didn't say a lot but nodded with an innocent smile, one she wasn't used to having.

Once they got to the Red Rocket he had been staying at, he showed her every single thing he had been working on; from fixing an old wind up toy to a Giddy Up Buttercup. Sparks lit up with joy not because they were toys by because they were fixed. The merchant noticed this and began teaching the young girl exactly what his father taught him; how to create. The man, now considered her father, built her simple braces for her legs until he could figure out a better solution.

Sparks over time talked and it was hard to shut her up. She told him what had happen to the parents she never knew and he understood what she went through and why she didn't talk. Sparks eventually got over the fact and grew up relatively happy. She was taught how to create, treat animals well and they'll respect you back and never fight just to fight. All the lessons that she needed.

By the age of 12 she was able to construct and deconstruct in on her own. This gave her father time to build some extra special for her 13 birthday. While she was working on fixing their radio he finally finished the gift and hung it on chains before calling her in. The look on her face was pure happiness. She hugged him tightly and giggled at the fact that she would put on not just a frame, but gain the ability to walk outside freely. The happiness was short lived however, her father mysteriously passed in his sleep the next morning. All was left was a note that read, " I love you so much, Kris. You were the daughter I never had and you saved me as much as I saved you. No matter what you do you'll always make me proud. I left my laser pistol in the desk, I want you to have it and the rest of what I own. I will always love you- Your father, John"

For a while she didn't eat, didn't work, didn't feel happy. Kris grabbed his cane and walked over tone desk to get his laser pistol and decide on what to do next. As she held it and glared down at the barrel, she knew that he wouldn't want her to remain like this. She wiped her tears and took a deep breath thus beginning her journey in recovery. No more would people die that she couldn't save. No more.

CC for new character. @Pufftuff last warning before I script Slinger.

I'll also start a post ASAP. I am also working on my MGS post as well. The Red Rocket station will be armed with traps and trip alarms, so FYI. At least tripwires. I like the thought of traps so probably those as well. Whoever is leading the group to RR let me know and we'll coordinate a post.

Which RR? The one right outside sanctuary has already been occupied, + it wouldn't have made sense for all of our characters who came to sanctuary to have missed it. There are several RR's, the closest one is nearby near where you clear out some raiders. I'm out atm so I can't show you but it's possible for our group to go through there before diamond city, but I'd have to look in game to see why that would be a plausible route.

Do you know which one I'm talking about?

The one outside Sanctuary Hills wouldn't work. The one outside of Corvega would. If Kris is there, we could run into her on our way to Diamond City.

Jack's plan is to take Courtney to Daisy in Goodneighbor and the route is as follows:

    Diamond City, Bunker Hill, Goodneighbor.

Not saying that's what will happen, but that's the plan until something comes up. So in between Sanctuary and Diamond City they could go to Corvega's RRTS and meet Kris.

Was the plan for us to meet the rest of you at Bunker Hill?

Sounds good. I'll set up the RR in a poat, then move my group and tag Puff one more time and if he doesn't answer I'll have Slinger stay at Bunker Hill.

EDIT: My group just fl*ffing good neighbor hahaha. After Bunker Hill I'll have Cricket send my group to Four leaf packing plant where they get to Riley then it's on to the more exciting things. ^_^

EDIT EDIT: @Pufftuff Last warning d00d. Seriously though, if you don't respond I'll have Slinger move us along and I'll place Slinger at Bunker Hill. I gave you three warnings, so I don't want to hear "Oh Wolf is an asshole. He couldn't do pi and now he plugged in the Overlord."

LAST EDIT: I almost forgot that my group has to stay so we can all meet up and go from ther to Four Leaf. That will have us all together finally.

I... Ah dammit Daryl, you spoiled it! *furiously begins to re-type post*

Seriously though, I'm gonna move Rufus to Courtney's house so they can all plan their next move as a group (is Wolfbane going to control Orson?)

One's a kitty and the other is a blood-soaked knife. They've earned the right.
