Oh yeah, i'd be all over it too. I'm waiting on mods for my Fallout 4 (PS4), and would love to have a crab in a tophat for Skyrim. ;-)

Same here. Though I mostly play on PC Nowadays and my PS3 is all bundled up in the attic memory capsule, I will buy this -- being a PS4 owner.

If they fix all of the things in the original game that need fixing, then I might buy a PS4 just so to play it.

I guess you'll not be buying it then. There is no way they would fix all the issues. I don't even know if they could.

Me - I'll buy it, if for no other reason than I need a new copy and I like the PS4 controller better. :)

I guess it's too much to hope they'd let us properly finish the war by killing all the camp leaders, stop enemies from re-spawning inside mines that we've cleared so they can kill NPCs, and for everything about dawnguard to be destroyed and forgotten except for the ferrymen, female Falmer, the ability to craft arrows and the Aetherium quest...

Probably, but, who knows. Still... probably.

As a fan of the series, I would have to buy it. To agree with the author though, I'd rather see remastered Morrowind and even Oblivion. :beermug:

A remastered Oblivion before Skyrim would break my patience. Oblivion has such clumsy and poorly designed gameplay mechanics compared to Skyrim.

Only regarding melee weapons and archery, in which Morrowind was even much worse. From a physical stand point, Skyrim has the least which could be improved. It's not like they're going to rewrite the quests. Better graphics would mean little to the Skyrim experience.

More functional Melee and Ranged combat mechanics, a superior and more well thought out level progression system, a more dense and interesting world... It's not so much about improved graphics as it is that Nostalgia doesn't effect me when I'm actually playing a game, any game, if it's dated and has fundementally flawed mechanics. Especially mechanics as prominent as the ones that Oblivion did horribly wrong. I can't speak for Morrowind, but getting Oblivion on next Gen before I got Skyrim would be annoying, although if it's without mods I don't really care that much anyways.

Well if the console people can get mods, many of the quest / item bugs can be fixed via patches - like using the legendary patch.

From what little I've seen, it looks like it may just be graphics improvements. I wonder if creatures will still fall from sky or sink into the ground. I suspect so, but I've gotten used to that.

You didn't like Dawnguard? I loathe most of the questline, but I simply love being a Vampire Lord. It's great for a Necromancer Destruction Mage.

I'm buying the pl*ps out of this. I've been hoping they'd make Skyrim backwards compatible for the new consoles, so the remastered graphics are a great bonus, and MODS ON CONSOLE? OMGYESPLEASE. I'm so stoked for this.
