So I've played Skyrim almost exclusively since it launched. Few games in between. Until Elder Scrolls Online came out for xbox in June.

I've played that exclusively until this week. I've done everything PVE wise in ESO (7 max level toons) and PVP is the laggiest thing I've ever experienced, so decided to try skyrim again.

It wasn't a smooth transition. Controlling your character doesn't seems as smooth as it used to but I persevered. Made a new character hoping to relive some awesome moments I've had in this game. After about an hour it felt right again. Just wandering round while having a huge smile on my face.

Anyway, I'm walking along near whiterun when I see a farmer leading a cow with paint on it. I talk to him and he says he's taking the cow to the giants as an offering. Considering how much I have played this game (don't even know how many thousands of hours) I was amazed, baffled and totally excited how I'd just experienced something I've never seen before. It reminded me why I loved this game in the first place. Honestly blown away all over again like I'd just started playing it as new.

I just got back into the game too. Over the last few weeks everything was reminding me of Skyrim, I was having dreams. It was like the game was calling to me. I had to go get a new ps3 but I started playing the other day. Took a little but I'm remembering the controls. It's like seeing old friends again. Riverwood and Whiterun, the Khajiit caravans.

Anyway, did you fallow the farmer? It's funny. I haven't come across anything new yet, but I'm sure I will.

I followed him for a bit. He just kept stopping and waiting then walking off. Didn't seem to be going much of anywhere.

Yeah, you need a bit of patients, and luck. But he will finally make his way to a giant. I'm not sure if this happens all the time but the farmer will then take part in Skyrim's space program.

I'm probably still considered a noob but I've put some good time into skyrim and still the new random stuff amazes me but what I found the other day is how I react differently because of the storyline I've done. Like finding the vampire couple at the mill, when I started (before killing harkon) I would have let them be, but now I despise vampires so I killed them because I found human body parts in their shed.

Lol, the farmer with his cow passes me quite often. Yeah, Skyrim is definitely a class of itself - even if you grow bored of the normal gameplay, just download the explosive chicken mod and you're going to be in love with it again.

It is insane how the game never gets old. There's always new things that you come across. I'll just follow a new character around just to see where they are heading.

Skyrim is such a beautiful game and is definitely one of my favorite games of all time. It is so beautiful and I am really impressed with what the creators came up with. The final outcome is an immersive RPG which truly blows you away. I could spend a thousand hours on this game and would still enjoy it because there is always something you can do in Skyrim. I know people sometimes bash it, but in fact, it is severely underrated and deserved much more.

Yeah, it's really amazing how wide and diverse this game is. You can be on your 10th playthrough and still discover a new quest, a new location, or even a new item. There are lots of hidden surprises to discover, and time spent in this game is really worth it in my opinion, as you get to explore large areas and go on your very own adventure all in the comforts of your very own home. If only there was a way to play this game for the very first time again...

Wow, that is also something I have never seen before. How could I have missed that farmer, with almost 300+ hours into the game? But no doubt about it, Skyrim is definitely a gem in RPG gaming, for sure.

The farmer and the cow is a random encounter, there are lots of encounter spots all over Skyrim, and if you approach it you will get a random event from a list of choices. There's also vampires dressed as Vigilants of Stendar, bandits dressed as Imperial soldiers wanting a bribe so you can pass unharmed, and even a giant vs a dragon fighting. It really makes every gameplay unique, and it gives some sort of unpredictability when you are traveling when going to different areas.

I know; you can also see the whole list of random encounters on UESP; I really hope I'll someday get confronted by a thief after becoming the Guild Master just to tell him to f!ck off. :D
