Miraak - an ancient dragon priest turned dragonborn and dragon slayer. He made a pact with Hermaeus Mora to obtain the skill to tame dragons. Now, he presides over an area in Apocrypha, and is now planning, after hundreds of years, to double-cross Herma Mora, so he could return to the land of the living to rule over Solstheim. So what now? We don't really know much about him, and he really doesn't have any redeeming qualities; he just wants to take over the world like a cartoon villain. He just has that one goal - to take over the minds of Solstheim, and then what? What's his drive other than ruling over people via mind control? He's really a weak villain in my opinion. What do you guys think?

"We were made to dominate. The will to power is in our blood. You feel it in yourself, do you not?" - Paarthurnax to the Last Dragonborn

Seems like he's very much in line with what we know, almost every recorded Dragonborn besides the player has gone on to conquer and rule.

As far as "standard" villains go, he's pretty damn awesome. His only flaw is that, as an end game boss, he is easy to defeat. His final fight is a total letdown.
