Im not realy sure how to put this but i wonder if any one know a good way to end a roleplay story, or a mod that could be used. When im done playing on a character i dont realy know how to end it all, becouse there is no end to the game. So i wonder if any one have a good way to end it all. I understand if you dont understand what i mean but if you do please reply, and tell me if there is a good way to "end" it all:)

go back to your house, to your family.. go into the bed. Tell your wife or whatever that you love her and then save the game, put your savegame on a USB, go to your local park and seal it well in a plastic bag and buery it under a tree.

The best way to craft the death of a character is on a character to character basis. To actually die in game though would mean getting into a situation you were not planning for and not strong enough to just brute your way out. But like most roleplaying some of this might just be your imagination.

It might help us to know what things your character has accomplished. What factions did he join/ become leader of? Did he slay Alduin? What side of the war did he fight on? Which jarls did he support? Which holds did he become thane of? Where did he have a house? Did he marry and adopt children?

Have a little ceremony, then delete all saves with this character from the hard drive.
i think i will do something like that for all the charaters when im done. Maybe make a callage of the things they done. But i got this idea for my next playthrough that will be a jomsviking (inspired by the new Amon Amarth album) where when im done i will get "killed" by a frost giant (will match with norse mythology) and then use console commands to get too sovngarde (valhalla) as a part of the playthrough.

Great characters are like great hero's in lore. From Patton to Caesar. If your dragon born, to fade way is not going to make legends. Best to end it the old fashioned way: iron axe, no armor, magic or shouts and fall in battle at some remote location.

I think it depends on your character origins and the story you have fleshed out through, whether by design or consequence:

1. Story telling through stitching together quests pursued
2. RP accomplishments ie (Lead a faction, get married, adopt children)
3. Start doing things in routine ie doing mundane tasks such as chopping wood

That said, I finished my character Cassandra in a low-note:

"As for Cassandra, the bane of the world eater, death's chosen disciple, Listener of the Night Mother's words and the dread within the darkness, she had walked into an old Nordic tomb, closed the door forever - there she lay beneath, one with the shadows."

For me, Roleplaying characters with an end game is very fulfilling.

My Arch-Mage fell off the College of Winterhold bridge and I just couldn't be bothered redoing what I was doing, turned the game off. Ended up deleting that character at some point so I guess that was his "end".

Lovely. This is genius. I'm going to do this and confuse the lucky sucker who finds the USB into thinking he just found some missing CIA files.

I literally laughed out loud when I read that. That was hilarious! I personally don't know if there is a way you can kill off your character. I guess just starting a new character would be the best way to go about and just forget everything you ever did with your previous character haha. That or just go and play the sims and see your old sim take their last breath. But then again in the Sims, the ghost just chill around your house after they die. So I think it's just a never ending cycle!

You didn't mention what platform you're playing the game on, but if you're on PC, I'm fairly certain that you can open the console and type 'kill', which will, you guessed it, kill your character.

Chuck your computer in the dumpster is the most effective way to kill a character. Otherwise, you will have to let your character live for eternity. That is just bad for the environment.

But your job isn't done yet! The Thalmor is yet to be defeated! Your journey isn't over yet, Dragonborn! Ready the armies! We march to the Summerset Isles at daybreak! Lots of things to be done! The dragon menace is never over, and the dead are still amongst the living! These are dangerous times, and the world needs its hero!
